Base Class Challenge XXXII Voting Thread

Welcome to the voting thread for Base Class Challenge XXXII, Tipping the Scale II (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?477112-Base-Class-Contest-XXXII-Tipping-the-Scale-II-3-5)! Voting will consist of each voter giving a first, second, and third place vote for three separate base classes. Anyone can vote, and in fact, entrants must vote to qualify for victory.

A first place vote is worth three points, a second place vote is worth two points, and a third place vote is worth one point. You may not vote for your own class.

You are encouraged to include reason with your votes, though this is not absolutely required.

The class that ends up with the most points wins the challenge contest. Voting starts now and will continue until 23:59 (Central Standard Time USA/Canada; GMT-6) on April 4th.

My vote:
1:Dude Who Does Tai Chi
Really a cool class and I quite like the balance between momentum and stability.
2:Countermage
A solid fighter like class that can counter-spell.
3:Verrück Balancer
I quite like the fluff but I find disappointing how much this class is all around but have no really cool spells or abilities: with a warlock you can do mostly better in all the domains in which this class works and a bard is nearly better on everything(except at will heal unless the bard takes the feat BMM and persist spell) because he have a better spell selection and a powerful song.
for some reason the Verrück Balancer gains at level 20 a capstone that is like barbarian rage but too late:if you spent 20 levels in a medium bab class that gives you nearly no option to reinforce your attacks(the two magically created short swords are outdated right when you find a magical sword) and who have at will abilities that are not options someone would actually spend in a battle then you already had given up fighting with attacks.
So in fact even with the capstone he does not becomes great at physical battle and no matter how much CL you add his spells will not become great.
The monk class features does not fill the lack in fighting ability.
However I find it very readable compared to rule heavy classes(like mine or the one about chaos from Zaydos) and I could never ever understand the bringer of chaos.

1. Dude who Does Tai Chi- Follows the theme best.
2. Countermage- Countermagic is cool and under utilized.
3. Bringer of Chaos- I can understand what it does better than the YACM.

Overall, it seemed to me like there wasn't a whole lot of connecting to the theme in this contest, hence giving DWDTC top ranking.
