So, we have quicken spell to allow spells to be cast as a Free Action but is there anyway to increase the speed at which their effects take place?

For example Plant Growth enriches the land and grows it 1/3 faster/better for 1 year, is there a way to speed up the spell to half a year or less?

In context the party wants to bring life back to a part of the desert, since it was turned into a desert in the last war. They have already restored the local oasis to life and want to continue that to cover more of the city.

If there is a cost increase from this, Plant Growth would normally cost 150 gold from a Cleric with the Plant Domain, could you please note that too.

You could cast it a second time, because since the effects are so straightforward, they should stack.

So 66% faster or 44% faster in 1 year, depending if it stacks with the spell or stacks on the spell, I can see that working but the stacking rules are a bit weird on the matter.

Stacking with = 33 + 1/3 of 33 = 44
Stacking on = 33 + 33 = 66 (more inclined to this option since it's like ability drains etc)

Depending on the stacking result the time to take effect will either double or act as if 1/3 faster.

1 Problem with that however is overgrowth, since it has such an effect when the full year is over the "potential productivity" would be immense. From Desert to Rain forest.

Then you cast Diminish Plants to stagger the effect later-on.

You could try researching a new, faster version of the spell.
