The book states, "An illusionist using this variant automatically adds two illusion spells to his spellbook every time he gains a level that grants access to a new spell level."
Are these two spells in addition to the two he gets every level, or does it replace them, so that it really means "When you gain access to a new spell level, you cannot choose any spells but illusions"?
Specifically, at third level, does he get two spells, which must be illusions, or two illusions spells plus two more spells?
