Arcane schooling is from Player's Guide to Faerun.

EDIT: lol. I realized how vague my question was....I mean choosing Artificer as the "one level of other class" that Arcane Schooling mentions.

The Artificer class is Eberron-specific, so it's unlikely an Artificer would be able to take a Forgotten Realms regional feat. If an Artificer did take the feat somehow, it would work normally for them, but since they're already going to be putting max ranks in Use Magic Device regardless, it's probably not the most efficient choice. I guess it would be decent on a Psionic Artificer.

Might be worthwhile for a -very- short while at the beginning of your career. Once your UMD mod is +19 or better it becomes entirey worthless.
