Large humanoid form

Hello, i am wanting to take the Windstorm feat from SS, now as a kobold i will be unable to use this feat, however the lesser invokation humanoid shape from my 6 Dragonfire adept levels i could.
I hope that this works, however the problem is that i need a large humanoid thing to turn into
Any ideas? if this plan doesnt work are there other ways to use this feat? I want to remain a kobold and am taking the dragonborn template

From emory, there is one in an FR book (Stingtail Wasabi or something), and a couple in OA, but I think the OA ones got updated to Monstrous Humanoids in the Dragon Mag 3.5 update.

Maybe the FR one got updated to Monstrous Humanoid as well?

Otherwise you're probably looking at templates like 1/2 Minotaur, but I don't think they're eligible for Alter Self.

Same with a Half-Ogre (RoD) with Human Heritage feat...

Large Humanoids are always classed as Giant-type, unless by bad design, as is the case with those OA and FR races, which also got fixed exactly because of that. There might be some others that managed to get through the balance check unnoticed, searching for those would be your best choice, but your DM would most likely Rule 0 them out of the window if he has any sanity left.

Also, unless you become Gargantuan, you'd be better off with the DFA's Wingstorm invocation.

Unfortunately, Kobold is incapable to take form larger than Medium by use of Humanoid Shape:
You can assume any humanoid form, as the change shape special ability (MM 306)
A creature cannot change shape to a form more than one size category smaller or larger than its original form.

EDIT: Just realized that you're looking for a large humanoid form to turn into, not a humanoid that can take a large form. Disregard!
