Finally got what I think is a working draft of this and wanted to get some more feedback on it as it currently stands.

This is part of a "Northern" setting booklet I'm developing featuring some of the material I've made for an ongoing campaign. Feel free to visit some of the other threads I've made along the way as I always welcome more feedback on them:
The Frostkin (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?480290-The-Frostkin-PEACH!&p=20493053)
Early Drafting of all four races. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?477273-Need-help-trimming-back-polishing-some-WIP-races&p=20401781)

Thanks,
Devin

Seems pretty good to me. Just clarify shake it off, because at the moment, there isn't really a term 'physical status effect,' and I'm not sure exactly what it means.

Wasn't sure about phrasing for that one. It is meant to give you one free retest on effects like Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed, Stunned, etc. but not Charmed, Frightened, etc. Not sure how to put that without spelling out every status effect it does and doesn't work for.

I would say just spell out the status effects. I feel like it wouldn't matter though. If you want charmed and frightened seem like they would be easy for this race to shake off. Besides, its pretty cool imagining a Merrow shaking off the charmed condition as easily as being blinded.

Fair enough. I know all of my races are on the more featureful side so I tend towards wanting to give some of those features some more interesting limits.

Here are some rough sketches I've done for the Merrow btw, should hopefully have a full illustration or two to add to the pages soon.

This, and how are claws two handed. You can still hold stuff in your claws right? And it just isn't logical. Better say light + finesse and 1d4 so you can attack twice for 2d4 (and 2x dex/str but costs bonus action)

The implication is that they're only effective weapons when otherwise unarmed. The way a boxer is far more effective with both hands at his disposal allowing him to strike with either fist rather than trying to get in a jab from a single usable hand.

I'm more than willing to reconsider but replacing it with 2 1h 1d4 weapons makes it pretty underwhelming in my eyes. I'll need to mull it over. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've been under the impression that when dual wielding the 2nd attack (with your off hand) always consumes your bonus action and does not add your STR/DEX to damage without a feat. Is that not correct?
