so arrow of death turned in to bolt of death. need low fort creaure to hunt

so My Gm is cool about letting me buy a decent supply of arrows (bolts) of death for my hand cross bow.

I have a couple of questions

first of my character fluff is a man who is next in line of a noble family of powerful monster hunter


second is there any way to increase the dc of arrow even if only by 1 or 2

Well generally magical items made by a more powerful caster SHOULD have a higher DC, but also be more costly. The Truenamer and Artificer have ways of improving magic items but IIRC it only works on spell completion and/or SLA producing items.

Probably easier to find ways to reduce the target's Fort save to begin with. Also if your targeting creatures with high fort saves (most animals and large monstrous foes) it might be easier to use a magic item to stuns or KO's them if they fail a will save and then just Coup-de-grac them. Your average bear is probably as likely to be KO'd by a arrow (bolt) of sleeping with it's 11 Will save than a DC 20 fort save arrow of daeth.
