help with fluff

so I've made several post about my monster hunter fluff pc
a rogue-swift blade/ sorcerer
my question now is I have slayed several high CR creatures in the last few missions of this game
and part of my fluff is it is customary for a member of my house hold to slay a strong monster cr 13-20 by them self and then through a family ritual have said monster fashion in to items and cloths for the person who slew the creature

so far I have killed the following the creatures

1 ruby golem
2 Adult blue dragon

there is one I've been tracking
its a wyvern but unlike normal wyvern it has been boosted to cr 19 due to a magical experiment
the trouble is I've been having trouble finding it

so I was wondering if I should use the ruby golem or the blue dragon or try and get the black wyvern

what sounds like better fluff

my character comes from the icy north and his family line can be traced back 1500 years and it predates the arrival of the monsters that happened 200 years ago

How arrogant is your character? Would he settle for less when he could go home having killed a beast the likes of that monstrous wyvern? Would he lose respect from his family if they knew he had given up on such a chance?

I say go after the wyvern. But I'm not necessarily known for good decisions.
