Hi guys!

I'll be played a winged, horned and tailed tiefling in a 5e FR game tomorrow and I am going to try and blend in via hat of disguise. I figure as long as nobody bumps into me it wont be a problem but I feel that it never hurts to be prepared! Beyond tying the wings down ala Xmen's Angel or using them like a cloak ala Gargoyles does anyone have any suggestions for blending in with the muggles? I can prepare alter self but that only lasts an hour so I'm not sure if thats going to be enough.

I disguise my feathered wings as a cape, and im very careful how i describe how they move

You could disguise them as an extra pair of arms and claim to be a freaky, four-armed mutant. Maybe get a job with a circus troupe?

Or, you could disguise them as fake wings, like this (http://www.sofancydress.co.uk/ekmps/shops/susanmccrae/images/girls-kids-children-s-woodland-butterfly-fairy-wings-tutu-and-wand-fancy-dress-costume-set-1530-p.jpg). Probably works better if you can pull off a tutu...

Depends on how the wings can settle around your body. I'll say the cloak is the best bet, especially when combined with a hood.

I would say flatten the to your body, and then just put a cloak over them. As long as you have the disguise self, you'll be fine.

A divided hennin with cowl would give a place for the horns as well as the wings going from your head down to your back. If you need to disguise yourself as male for some reason, I got nothing. Men's hats are just never quite that stupid.

Or don't hide the wings at all. Just paint them purple and white and sprinkle glitter all over them, then tell everyone you're a fairy princess.

I will bake gingerbread men for you if you back up that assertion by taking levels in my Princess (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?482608-Zaydos-Princess-Updated-for-5e) class! :smallwink:
