I like this. Feel the big bad wolf is strong but not actually beating a dozen guards easily stron. It's dangerous and smart but 142HP? the d10roll and other stuff as damage seem goid, though

I made the hit points on high end so it could take a few rounds of combat. A lot of that is taken from the high level game we played. It can be adjusted down as needed for your own game.

Seems fair, I just though since it isn't as supernatural as something as a beholder it would go down faster. It is just a stronger magical wolf at the end.

I was about to say "he isn't natural" then I looked and saw he was a beast. I changed it to Monstrosity, which is probably a better descriptor in this case.

True, and still, in the stories he isn't really absurdly powerful. But I understand it's needed for your campaign.
