Looking for a map of the world

I am going to start a rather ambitious project soon, and I need a map of our world without any country borders or names of cities, ect, but still has a general landscape about it showing locations of mountains, deserts and the like.
Basically I am making a campaign based around the "what if" many legendary empires existed at the same time instead of hundreds or thousands of years apart.
For example, the war of the three kingdoms is rather well known these days thanks to video games, but it existed rather far apart from the major famous wars and figures that took place in Japan. To that end I need a map that I can change the borders on and does not have pre written in cities and countries since I will need to define who owns what from the start.

Does anyone have any links or ideas I could use to make this map?

You might have to go continent by continent or even country by country, unlabeled topographical maps of the entire world may be tough to find.

Thanks Malimar, that second one looks like it will work for me.
@Psyren It looks like you may be right. I spent about half an hour searching, but could not find the thing that I wanted exactly. What I plan to do now is use the second map that Malimar linked as a general border and territory overmap, and make one as huge as I can find map that looks about the same way for each country for the players.

Now lets see if I can find said huge individual maps :3

I figured that a learning site online somewhere must have what I am looking for. Im going to need to wait until my roomy to wake up before I print these guys out tho.

Edit2: Ok I have a question. I was planing on just using photoshop or something to write all this in, but does anyone know any good programs or have any good ideas for defining the ever changing borders of this map?
