I just googled it up and found it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dungeons_%26_Dragons_rulebooks)
There's a section there for all editons.. Just click on the 3.5e.

That Wikipedia page isn't complete. It doesn't have the setting books for example. I can't vouch for it's completeness, but I've always found this (http://tsr.bothgunsblazing.com/3eindex.htm) site useful. The link is to the 3.0/3.5/d20 index.

This one isn't complete either. I don't think it has more than 50% of the books, actually.

Seems more than 50% complete. There are some notable things missing though, ToB for one.

I believe the product key at the end of the consolidated lists (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats) provides a complete list of sourcebooks.

Missing two completes, two MMs, one FC, the "It's not outside" duo, MIC, ToB, DotU, EE, EoE, DrM, and probably some more that I don't have.

Those are almost all of them, but it lacks a few books which were licensed by WotC but not plublished by them, like Bestiary of Krynn, and all the other Dragonlance books with the exception of the Campaing Setting. Another thing to note is that they also listed certain adventures, like the Sunless Citadel. BTW, there are 124 books listed in that list, which also means that I'm lacking 9 books to have them all... :smalleek:

also the Kingdom of Kalamar books, licensed to Kenner and Ravenloft was licensed to whitewolf, although those all are 3.0

and lets not forget the WOTC archives http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/dnd
which probly has more pages than what was published in source books

But those aren't books, so they're outside the scope of the question, no?

well...is it considered a book if you've printed out all the archives and put it in binders?

I figured a more relevant answer to his question would include all 3.5-legal material.

We have this list here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=16617440&postcount=761) already.

I think that this is complete.

"Legal" invites more questions than it answers in a noncompetitive game with OGL.

IDK.

It works for me, and I did test it. It's a link onto a page on this forum so it should be fine ?

You need to request the desktop version. It won't display on the mobile site.

Anything from 3.0 that's not reprinted in 3.5 is still valid but if it's a problem, the 3.5 PHB was released in July 2003 so anything released prior to that is out.

Not enough....They should never have tried to recreate the wheel after 3.5. I was mad enough when I went and bought all those books for 3.0 only to have them make 3.5. Then to go and make 4 and 5 sigh....

Do any of those lists include limited release stuff like The Fright at Triskor, Animated Series Guide, or Players Reward: Fist of Emerikol?

How about the various Game Day free softcover handout modules?

there's also the Legacy of the Green Regent series for the RPGA, at least one in the Malatra Living Jungle series was 3rd edition, but I think those was PDF only

and I didn't notice the 2 Diablo II books on those lists, though they are 3.0

Not if his goal was to put together a list of books to buy?

same here :smalltongue: I think the biggest problem is gonna be actually finding the books I want though :smallfrown:

Try ebay for hardcopies. I'm not sure if Forum rules allow me to point you at any of the various sites which exist on the Web which will sell pdfs.

www.Drivethrurpg.com sells pdfs and they are officially licensed to sell them, so its ok to post links there
Amazon and ebay you can usually find just about anything in hard copy there
some can be found at www.piazo.com too

I have a friend who does antique buying and selling. He keeps on the look out for 3.x books for me and he will text me if he finds anything, which is how I managed a few. Typically he finds them at thrift stores and garage sales.
