OK so I'm thinking of some items to add to my game that only artificers can make. Like utility items. Like land mines and stuff of that nature. Something that could be seen as techy but also magical. So what would be a dc craft engineering check for something like
1. Landline (also what damshe eould yaw give it)
2. Grapple hook launcher (i figure it would make scaling things easier)
3. A portable anti magic/psionic field (single use like a landmine)
4. Gliders for when falling
And some other techy things that yaw could come up with. my game is very low magic so i figured i could give the artificer some things to help with general use. Mabye a breathing aperatus for underwater.

The cheapest antimagic mine: CL 7 (9 for a runescarred berserker) 5th level, single use use activated... 1750gp

As for the hookshot: rod of many ropes is a good start

So what type if dc would I need to craft one? Or what would you say would be a reasonable one?

UMD 29 (as per the artificer class)

Also, (I put this in an edit that took a lot to send) a good hookshot is the Rod of Many Ropes
