Need help on how to impliment a character concept

The concept is simple- I want to build a character with a bunch of sentient throwing knives that view him as their parent. I hope to apply to a somewhat comical game soon, and I figure this could be a great concept.

Is there any way I can have at least 2 sentient knives by level 2 using rules available in pathfinder?

Your best shot is probably the Raktavarna Rakshasas. CR2 and intelligent. A summoning spell might be handy

Assuming you'll be RP'ing them, all they really need is to be magical. An occultist or some archetype which gains their implements (there are several) could be used to have up to 3 throwing knives at 2nd level which you commune with to gain your spells or to use their powers.

If they must be sentient by the game rules - 2nd level is too early to have a couple of sentient magic items, improved familiars, or similar.
