The Plague weakens the man. The Caustic destroys the man. The Cinder watches the man die. The Void lingers after his death.

The elemental planes are neither good nor evil, neither chaotic nor lawful. They occupy the inner parts of the multiverse, unoccupied by fiends, celestials, or other embodiments of alignment.

Yet even though the elements themselves are completely neutral, their embodiments may not be. The Princes of Elemental Evil are a present and active force of corruption in the world, and their touch warps elementals into evil mockeries of themselves.

From time to time, a humanoid creature descends from such an elemental. They are genasi: but not genasi in the traditional sense. They emphasize an element, but a hostile and deadly version of it. Though not necessarily evil themselves, evil is always present in their bodies.

Corrupted genasi are rare, and often disguise themselves as other humanoids, preferably 'normal' genasi of their element.

Caustic Genasi
Caustic genasi descend from corrupted water elementals. They symbolize the inherent tension and potential for conflict existing between all living creatures. Their skin is shades of greenish blue, and their eyes are large and gray. A faint vitrolic smell or the sound of sizzling acid may surround them. Unlike their water cousins, caustic genasi are hot-headed and may explode at the slightest insult.

Cinder Genasi
Cinder genasi, descended from corrupted fire elementals, represent the dying of a flame, the natural end of everything animate. They live short lives, with a cinder genasi living beyond thirty considered a rarity, but despite (or perhaps because) this cinder genasi are filled with an almost inextinguishable desire to leave their mark on this world. Plague Genasi
Descended from earth elementals corrupted towards elemental evil, plague genasi represent how evil's taint can linger unseen for ages. Indeed, this type of genasi is sometimes suddenly born in earth genasi families with no previous traces of evil in their bloodline. Plague genasi are cunning creatures with blood-colored skin. They may be surrounded by a deathly stench, plants they tread on may wither, or locusts may seek them out and cover their bodies.

Ability Score Increase: Your intelligence score increases by 1.
Rotting Core: You have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against the poisoned condition or to resist disease.

Void Genasi
The progeny of corrupted air elementals, void genasi represent the emptiness left behind by destruction. They are silent, unemotional beings with black skins and empty eyes. A void genasi is least inclined towards evil of all corrupted genasi, but this is more because of its inborn apathy than a real aversion to evil. A voidsoul genasi might be surrounded by shadows, or its breath may be icy cold.

Ability Score Increase: You wisdom score increases by 1.

Frigid Heart: You have resistance to cold damage.

Just about the crunch, although I like what you wrote down (weakens/destroys/watches/lingers), did you make that up yourself?:

I worry about, next to the fluff, that they are a bit too much like other genasi

The Caustic seems fine

Cinder is cool too. I don't see everything wrong, although you could replace Spark of Dying Fire for either a cantrip or giving it a small extra effect.

I like both Plague and Void best, Plague has a cool theme and is balanced, Void is also nice and the feature is good as written.
