Hey everybody,

I am making a commoner for an upcoming campaign, and I wan to go the route of underdog somehow becoming the hero.
I remember seeing a Peasant Hero Prestige Class somewhere but I am not sure where.

It could have been 3rd party or even homebrew... Also I am accepting fo the possibility that I am imagining this class and I does not even exist.

My google fu tells me that AD&D had a Peasant Hero class. I also found this (http://www.uselessbabble.com/dnd/articles/peasanthero.shtml)piece homebrew.

Its not the survivor PrC,a nd I know about the peasant hero kit form 2nd ed.

this is a 3rd ed PrC I know I saw it, but if all you google can find is some weird pretend fighter thing homebrew it must have been on one of my over 1200 d20 books.

Do you recall any specifics about the PrC? I'm wondering if it has a different name and just the flavor of a peasant hero.

All I am for sure of is the name, it definitely has peasant in it, so it might not be peasant hero, but like.. peasant warrior?

I gave full BaB and d8 HP, but that's all I remember and im not 100% on that either.

Wasnt the peasant hero a build in the 3.0 hero builders guidebook? or in the 3.0 warriors handbook?

Dandwiki has a homebrew NPC class (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Peasant_Warrior_(3.5e_NPC_Class)) of that name.

Closest official PrC that springs to mind (flavour-wise and name-wise, anyway), is Outcast Champion from RoD.

I've been meaning to play Chumley Stickfoot, Hireling Extraordinaire for a while. He's a a Commoner 1/Survivor 5/Hexblade 3/Fortune's Friend 7 . No actual abilities, just (bad) defenses and one of Shax's Indispensable Haversacks. Found it.

It the peasant hero from Quintessential Fighter.

The only standout ability is you get to pick a 'peasant weapon' at each level from a short list and you get a +1 competence bonus each time you pick it, the capstone gives you +2 weapon damage for each 'peasant weapon' you selected.
