Faerun Planar Shepard

One of my PCs is looking at playing a Planar Shepard for a Faerun campaign. Problem is, neither of us know enough about Faerun cosmology to pick a plane for him. We are at 10th level, in a mostly good aligned party, so nothing overtly evil. He does want to fully use the wildshape options that the class provides, with less focus on the planar bubble ability.

Also, how would one go about finding what would be legal to wildshape into once he has picked a plane.
