Disease and level drain

Playgrounders,

Please refresh my memory - How do you recover ability/level drain (as from a wraith or enervation, etc.)

Also, how do you stop the progression of a disease (such as filth fever) and heal from it?

Level Drain can be 'healed' by succeeding a Fortitude save 24 hours after receiving them (DC set by what inflicted the Level Drain). If the save fails, then a Restoration or Greater Restoration can restore them (or remove the Negative Level if applied before the 24 hour period passes).

Diseases force a Fort save immediately upon contraction. If successful, they fight off the disease and suffer no ill-effects. If failed, then it incubates for however long. Then at the start of each day, they make a Fort save or suffer the damage from the disease. Two successful saves in a row cures a disease (or a Remove Disease spell). Damage is healed naturally, 1 point per stat per day (2 with a full days rest) or with any variety of Restoration spell.
