Hi, all! One of my players wants to convert a 3.P character of hers, a human Witch, to 5e. The character is based largely on the character of Elphaba from Wicked (the book more than the musical,) with emphasis on transmutation, hexing/ cursing effects, flight, animal/ natural interaction, and elemental magic. She isn't looking for the most literal possible conversion possible, nor particularly optimized, just as close to Elphie as possible and fun to play.
I've pondered a few ideas: Warlock (Archfae,) Sorcerer (Favored Soul,) suchlike, but I'd like a few other suggestions to offer her as well.
