... for the dearly departed skull of the Eye Of Fear And Flame (with somewhat too much fear).

For Belkar, it has to be like losing a brother... or maybe just a friend... or... uh... a kind of cool toy... or... well, at least it's sad for the skull.

Amen :smallfrown: Still, let us all feel comforted by the fact that he got a lot more spotlight than his two decoy brothers...

I think Belkar should have kept the pieces and glued them together to form a chamberpot anyway.

Irony - 1, Skulsy - 0.

"Oh Belkar's toy, the hobbos heard you calling
Behind that rock, and o'er the other side.
The battle's over, and the Pally's all are dying,
Tis you who yelled, when Haley tried to Hide.
So shut ye up, the bad guys are coming here now!
You should be hushed, and quiet don't ye know
Cuz Haley's trying to Hide there in that shadow
Oh Belkar's Toy, Oh Belkar's Toy it's time to go..."

Tonight we honour his memory as one who fell in battle defending Azure City (sort of) and may he be reunited with his comrades in the next life. If undead have a next life. Well if they do Belkar and him are definatly going to hell.

I figure that Belkar finally rolled a Natural 1 on his Intimidate check. :smallwink: That's the problem with using Intimidate checks on Magical Items/Things That Can Speak, dontcha know.

Belkar should have grabbed up Skullsy's eye gems before leaving. At a minimum, they would make awesome souvenirs. As a hackneyed plot device, he might have been able to turn them into some type of Goggles of Fear and Flame!

Awesomesauce!

*Ooh! Almost forgot: slicence... * :smallwink:

No longer must we suffer under the fear and flame of the skull-head thingy and Belkar's passionate whimsy!

admittedly there are plot issues involved and it's not like this is a real DnD gaming going on but if I had been roleplaying belkar I would have simply performed a strength check to rip off skullsy's jaw. That way he couldn't talk and I'd keep all my chamberpot bonuses... along with that whole fireball/fear beam thing too. (c;

Er...the skull is sentient, why would it use its fear or fire abilities on command if you'd treated it like that?

Maybe he'll see someone in the afterlife...cause, I think he was Chaotic Neutral.

considering he had no flesh, I don't think the lack of a bottom jam is going ot stop him alerting the guards, even if it does it would refuse to use fireball/fear

I never really liked the EoFaF. I don't, personally, find cowardice funny. While I enjoy the device which let Belkar do the Belakr thing (that is: Kill, and do alot of it), its end was coming, and coming quickly.
Kudos to The giant for getting rid of skullsy so well.

This not-so-silent rant brought to you courtesy of all the folks who jumped into the "moment of silence for Miko" thread and whoopd-n-hollared 'cause she wasn't a likeable charecter.

That was six kinds of awesome.

I only counted four, hold on.

*rechecks*

Ah, so it is! There WERE six kinds of awesome mixed into that post, as well as three loads of win.

Let me be sure on the amount of win...

Ooh, woops, only two types of win in that post, one of them faulty at best.

Thread-scene analysis is on the job!
