As much as I would like to believe that the Order of the Stick is the only webcomic in the world, clearly it is not.

Here's a thread for everyone to post links to their favorite webcomics. My favorites are already on the Go page, but I'll repeat some of them here:

PVP (http://www.pvponline.com/index.php3)
8-Bit Theater (http://www.nuklearpower.com/)
RPG World (http://www.rpgworldcomic.com/)
Dungeons & Dorks: (http://www.dndorks.com/) Yet another good strip about an ongoing D&D game.
Penny Arcade: (http://www.penny-arcade.com/) I'll admit, I only get the joke about 1 out of every 3 or 4 strips, due to the large number of computer gamin in-jokes. But when I get them, they're pretty funny.

I'm sure I'll add more. What (if anything) do you read?

Updates M-F, Gaming related sometimes. Breaks the 4th wall alot.

Nodwick and Full Frontal Nerdity, strips are weekly.

Updates MWF. A tale of one gaiming group, in and out of the game. Currently experiencing Technical Difficulties, though the archives seem to be working.

I have others, but . . . well . . . they are probably an aquired taste. And I don't want to get Rich in trouble for inappropriate content. ;)

Yeah, I don't want to see any links for furry porn webcomics, people (and a quick look at most webcomic listing sites will show that they are out there, man, in force). Keep it relatively non-deviant.

In addition to several of those already posted:

http://www.sluggy.com: Sluggy Freelance (Cross a rabbit, a web designer, a freelance inventor, and unspeakable evils and you get...)
http://www.userfriendly.org: Userfriendly (Dilbert for the truly geeky)
http://www.gpf-comics.com: General Protection Fault (Funny, occasionally epic, and a generally good webcomic)
http://www.clanbob.net/modules.php?name=Archives: The Life of Riley (An epic tale of good vs evil, light versus shadow, and umm... a bunch of punk kids from Florida)
http://rpgworldcomic.com/: RPGWorld (...is to Computer RPGs as OotS is to D&D... without the nifty stick figures)

2004-02-11, 08:40 AM
Well, let's see. RPGworld has already been mentioned twice, so...

http://faith.rydia.net/ Demonology 101 - and you thought your High School experience was bad.

http://www.megatokyo.com/ Although these days I find Megatokyo to be dragging. :(

And, my favourite...

http://www.itswalky.com/ WIIGII!!! :)
Angsty, now, but formerly extremely humorous and always dramatic. :)

That's about it, right now.

Sluggy Freelance! Sluggy's been on the web for a VERY long time. Reading the archive will take you a while.

Real Life

Schlock Mercenary (30th century mercenary marines destabilize the galactic economy and get paid for it!)

And, surprisingly the Fuzzy Knights on the Kenzer web site:
Don't start reading from the current strip because it's in the middle of a complicated story line. Read the archive.

EDIT: Forgot one. Dungeon Damage
Like all the keen sites, it's having some problems right now. This is the only gaming-related comic I've ever seen with so much depth to its history. It's set in an alternate europe with magic. Very cool.

Mega-toyko has been pulled from my favorites for boring storyline, unlikeable main characters, and incessantly whining artist.

I used to love it, but after Largo left it's just been plain annoying.

Everyone has mentioned all of my favorites, but I'll go ahead and throw out:

It's just like a webcomic, if the characters could talk . . . and move . . . okay so it's nothing like a webcomic, because they're all flash animation, but the site must be mentioned. ;D

I'm getting to that point, myself...like I said, it's dragging. Same old, same old.

Ok, I'll add my votes for Sluggy Freelance ("Worship the comic! Is it not nifty?"), It's Walky, GPF, and Schlock Mercenary (WHERE does he keep that gun? ! ? ). I'm surprised I haven't seen:
Dork Tower (http://www.gamespy.com/comics/dorktower/)

Finally, I need to add:
Help Desk (http://www.ubersoft.net), the adventures of the Ubersoft corporation, run by an evil, bodiless entity bent on world domination. The comic focuses on the User Support people, who are trained in how to make sure that they never give any actual useful information on the perpetually buggy software the company produces.

It's exactly what it sounds like.

Oh my.....that hello cthuluhu is insanely funny. You have to start at the first one though and work your way up!

Hey alright, hello-cthulhu is back :D

I still have the old, broken bookmark in the hopes that it would return.

Too bad there isn't some way to merge this Online Comics with the other one about seven or eight threads down ;)

I just started reading this one and I have to tell you it's hilarious.

PvP and PA have already been mentioned so I'll just say I love them.

CAD is one of the best gaming comics out there IMO.

Doesn't update regularly enough for me, but still hilarious.

http://dominic-deegan.com/ - Dominic Deegan, Oracle for Hire. Basically what it sounds like. Very good anime style, and really well-written too.
