Dominate Beast a polymorphed target?

So considering that polymorph turns one into a beast, would that make them a viable target for dominate beast?

i would allow it for polymorph (because it changes your mind to that of an animal, albeit an animal with the same personality as you) but not for wild shape or shapechange (because they don't change your mind).

I would say "yes". A Polymorphed beast is a real beast as far as I'm concerned.

The target’s game statistics, including mental ability scores, are replaced by the
statistics of the chosen beast. It retains its alignment and personality.
The Creature Type is part of "game statistics", so it clearly changes from whatever it was before into "beast" for the duration of the spell. So, yes, it's a valid target for Dominate Beast.
