How does Spike Growth affect createures that can jump?

Say a druid casts Spike Growth on an area containing giant toads. The giant toads have the ability to jump. Can they simply jump out of the spike growth, or are they stuck in place?

Nothing about spike growth prevents a victim from moving, though if they fail their save after taking damage, their movement speed is reduced by half (which comes with a corresponding penalty to jump, as outlined in the skill description), which may impede a toad's ability to jump out of the area. That said, jumping out of the area still counts as moving through the area, at least for the first square, so they would still take the respective damage as they attempt to jump out of the spikey growthed area.

Things like jump, tumble and so on are always part of a move action.
If anything prevents a move action, it prevents jumping.
