+47 to what? Not all bonuses are equally costly.

As mentioned, it depends on the exact details, but as far as I know the biggest single bonus you can get without going into epic items is +30. You could go higher than that by stacking different bonus types, but again that's impossible to determine without details.

In any case, this is almost certainly a custom item so the cost is ultimately up to the DM.

+47 enhancement to attack and damage? 44,180,000 gp using Craft Epic Magic Arms and Armor.

greatsword

Do you mean it's a +47 greatsword? That would cost 44,180,000 gp.

That's the cost of the enchantment, the sword still has to cost 350gp on top of that.

Total cost: 44,180,350gp assuming it is not made of a special material.

Well yes, it is a bit less than 0.001% tip. That's insulting
If you're gonna tip the artificer it's gotta at least be 9,000,000; they were devoted exclusively to one for weeks on end

About 6311 weeks, to be precise, or some 121 years. Better hope you got that fast time demiplane set up.

I think with Efficient Item Creation and Exceptional Artisan you could probably reduce the crafting time to… 63½ years? :smalltongue:

Thank heavens Wish doesn't have an upper limit to how expensive magic items it makes can be. Burns a lot of XP, though.

Given that you can't pay enough XP that you'd lose a level, the wisher would need to be quite a high level indeed, or cheese away the XP cost.
