Since paizo hates martial characters and anything that might benefit them they seem to have gutted vampiric as a weapon bonus to complete trash.... is there a way to get the old one back?
old one
Any living opponent struck by a vampiric weapon must make a Fortitude save (DC 16) or lose an additional 1d4 hit points, which are immediately added to the wielder's current hit point total. Any hit points above the wielder's maximum are treated as temporary hit points (multiple additions of temporary hit points don't stack) and disappear after 1 hour.
Caster Level: 7th
Requirements: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, vampiric touch
Price: +2 bonus

new paz crap
Price +2 bonus; Aura moderate conjuration; CL 8th

DESCRIPTION

Restriction This ability can be placed only on melee weapons.

A vampiric weapon steals a bit of the life force of any living creature it strikes. Three times per day, when the wielder strikes a foe with a vampiric weapon, she can will it to give her a fragment of the stolen life force as a swift action. She regains a number of hit points equal to 2d6 or the amount of damage dealt by the attack, whichever is less.

again paz insists on enforcing the 15 min adventure day. I would like to know of a way to get the old stuff in a pathfinder campaign.

Ask your DM to allow 3.5 material. :smalltongue:

MIC version is better, and is 3.5

Deals and heals +1d6 damage, no save. Does not grant temp hp.

3.0 one is better, just heals you how much damage you deal.
