What would be the cheapest way to get access to Iron Heart Surge, not including Martial Scripts?

You really only have 3 other ways to acquire it:

1. Be a warblade: Obvious, I know. It costs nothing and gets you the earliest possible entry. The opportunity cost: a few level dip

2. Martial Study: Iirc, you'd have to take this a couple of times: I'm pretty sure IHS requires knowing other ironheart maneuvers to qualify, so you'd have to expend multiple feat slots for it, and it would take a while to get a high enough IL to access it. GP cost: 0, Opportunity cost: very high.

3. Ironheart Vest: requires access to some combination of the previous methods to meet the prerequisites. Cost: 3K gp, Opportunity cost: nil

Also, two more methods.

4. Eternal Blade. Needs 3 levels, but can be combined with method 2 above.

5. Master of Nine. Needs 1 level.

Wand of heroics, although I'm fuzzy if you can stack multiple castings on yourself.

Further debatably is the method of Heroics + Dark Chaos ShuffleTM to get the feats you need to pick it up and many more.

Your 9th level shall be Warblade. This grants both Iron Heart Surge and White Raven Tactics on the Warblade recovery mechanic.
Cost: 1 level

LOL I like the dark chaos shuffle this I've only ever seen in high optimization games. P
