Swordsages proficient with kukris?

I've seen many builds mentioning that their swordsage is fighting with kukris. I can't find anywhere that shows that swordsages are proficient with kukris. What am I missing?

Kukri are melee martial weapons which swordsages are proficient in.

Even if they where not, they could use a martial weapon proficiency feat to become proficient in them.
