I like alliteration, and will not apologise for that. Anyhow.

So, I was looking around drive thru RPG, and there is a lot of 3Rd Party Pathfinder stuff and companies. And I'd be interested in reading them, but I have no idea where to start, which companies are reliable for product company, that sort of thing.

So I thought, maybe, having a thread to discuss that kind of thing would be useful or helpful or something?

In no particular order:

Spheres of Power (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/129448/Spheres-of-Power?affiliate_id=909585) by Drop Dead Studios (new, better-balanced magic system that can replace Vancian or exist alongside it)
Path of War (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/135308/Path-of-War?affiliate_id=909585) by Dreamscarred Press (updated Tome of Battle, with better editing and ongoing support, and without the overwhelmingly Eastern flavor)
Ultimate Psionics (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/124281/Ultimate-Psionics?affiliate_id=909585) by Dreamscarred Press (3.x-style Psionics for PF, including a Soulknife that isn't garbage!)
Secrets of the Iron Titan (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/145002/The-Secrets-of-the-Iron-Titan-PFRPG?affiliate_id=909585) by Rite Publishing (a fun class that basically turns you into a construct with the brain of a [whatever your race is])

The Tome of Horrors (I, II, III, & IV) from Frog God Games is really good. So many monsters, a mix of classic D&D monsters plus new monsters.

Note about Path of War - it has interesting bits, but it makes STR builds worthless with how easy/effective DEX builds are - a single feat. (Not game-breakingly, but if your group has optimizers they will all play DEX builds from then on unless they specifically go out of their way not to.)

Were you most interested in player resources (classes, feats etc) or adventures/settings?

The thing to keep in mind is that while in most groups there's a bit more acceptance of third party material as compared to home brewed material they're fundamentally the same thing.

Further, each book is typically "balanced" within itself rather than being completely agnostic with the baseline pathfinder. All of Dreamscarred's stuff tends to overshadow the base game. However, Dreamscarred Press was formed by people who congregated here so often there metric of alance and power is consistent with the kind of play that Playgrounders expect. Make from that what you will.

However, I'm fairly certain that most 3pp player resources ares actually available on d20pfsrd.com (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/) so that's a pretty good place to start.

If you are looking at third party campaigns, I'd recommend looking at firemountain games. They've got two full campaigns.
