What are some good adventures from past editions that would be good to convert and run in 5e? I'm running a campaign in a world I created, but would like some ideas on old adventures to run/steal from. One that's popped up on my radar is Madness at Guardmore Abbey

As a beginning adventure, I've used 3.0's The Sunless Citadel to great effect.

It's about three levels 'deep'; if you hand-wave experience, you can probably give a level to players after each floor is cleared.

I did make one kind-of significant change... I ran one particularly draconic encounter as-is rather than upscale it to 5e.

The Sunless Citadel is probably my favourite module.

Age of Worms and Isle of dread are right up there as well.

I will definitely check out The Sunless Citadel. That's one I remember hearing good things about back in the 3.X days.

Logosloki, I didn't even think about Isle of Dread, I played that a looooong time ago.

Thank y'all for the suggestions.

Keep on the Borderlands has been a hit so far.

Madness at Gardmore Abbey takes some work but is a pretty good adventure.

Against the Cult of the Reptile God seems like it would be fun in 5e.
