Forest Gnome Illusionist cantrip question

Forest gnome Naturall Illusionist race ability says:

"You know the minor illusion cantrip. lntelligence is your spellcasting ability for it."

Since it doesn't say: "The cantrip doesn't count against your number of cantrips known." I am taking it as it does count againts the number of cantrips you known as a Wizard, right?

It does not count against number of cantrips known as a wizard because it comes from another source. Similarly, if you take a level of cleric, you get cantrips from another source as well.

So you basically start with 4 cantrips as a Wiz, and if you pick illusionist school at lvl 2 you gain another one for a total of 5. That's preety sweet.
