I've not be able to find them by searching (by house, rule, house rules, tweak) or in the thread where there's a compiled list.

I remember it was a pretty long list, organized by section. The only rule I remember was that any race could forgo 3 points of stat increase for a feat at first level.

Can anyone help me find this list?

Not so much, but thanks.

The one I'm looking for had just one person's rules and it was sectioned out by character creation, then races, then classes, rule changes, etc.

Are you talking about rules for creating a new race or class? Per the old WOTC boards, the former devolved into a six point system...can't help you too much with the latter though.

Nope. It was some dude's house rules for 5e. It was pretty sweeping, touching every part of the game. Well organized. I remember being impressed by it and the feature that stuck out during character creation was the 3 points = a feat thing. This was a few months ago. I've looked for it a few times, failed, and thus have petitioned the help of strangers. :)

I have rules organized kinda like that, with a rule to get a feat at level 1 (by dropping your highest ability score instead of 3 points though, since a feat is supposed to be worth about the same as +2 to an abiltiy score you care about): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x2Ddnjf9giV4NdqK0T-17whCE2OEE5xFB8CgF7eAyIY

the +3 whatever thingie does not ring a bell, but our houserules touch and - as we think - balance a lot of issues. - see my signature.

Sounds bit like mine, without the feat part: https://docs.google.com/document/d/112evwX4-QFfkLlAEq8UDKLREazWlCpvAg6Ek_16752A

Have you ever posted these to this board before? This is pretty darn close to what I remember.

EDIT: To clarify, these aren't the set I was looking for, but they are organized the same as the ones I want to find again. Also, they're pretty good *thumbs up*
