All the time I see links that look like this: Here
But I don't know how to make them.
So my links look like this

httqp://www.whatever.com/stuff.thingy.lpkj

Can someone help me?

Instead of something like www.giantitp.com which would come out as www.giantitp.com, use Giant in the Playground Games (www.giantitp.com), which would come out as Giant in the Playground Games (www.giantitp.com).

Yep, I usually copy/paste the web address, then give it the tags and expand them with "rl". Write your text, add an "=" and copy/paste the first closing "]" and you're set.

Or you can use the link button http://www.giantitp.com/forums/images/editor/createlink.gif. Highlight the text you want to become a link, press it, paste the link.
