The Elder, The Elder's gotten ill lately. His years finally catching up with him.
Even worse, food stores have begun getting very low, with only the odd mushroom collecting and a rare dead mutt-carcass (there's basically a spot in the ark that a bunch of dogs live, breed and fight amongst themselves for scraps. it's where Dog Handlers gets their dogs from). Very recently the most influential people of the Ark banded together to create The Assembly. A grouping for voting on matter ranging from new market-prices, all the way to deciding on what New Projects to work on and which to continue working on.
You've all lived here at the ark for as long as any of you can remember, whihc is around 20 years, although none of you really knows since stuff like a Calendar or time-watching is a lost art from the Days Of Old.
But now it's time for The People of the ark to no just survive, but rather learn to LIVE. The Assembly have voted on what should be done for now, what to be build, where to be explored, etc.
