To a party of seasoned adventurers such as yourselves, what you see is but another dull tavern in another dull town in some nameless province. It is another span of time between challenges of true adventuring.

Outside the tavern, a fog lies over the town this evening. The damp, cobbled pavement glistens as the lights of street lanterns dancer across the slick stones. The fog chills the bones shives the souls of anyone outside.

Yet inside these tavern walls the food is hearty, and the ale is warm and frothy. A fire blazes in the hearth, and the tavern is alive with the tumbling voices of country folk.

Suddenly, the tavern door swings open, and a hush falls over the room. Framed by lamp-lit fog, a form strides through the doorway. His heavy, booted footfalls and the jingle of coins shatter the silence. His brightly colored clothes are draped in loose folds about him, and his hat hangs askew, hiding his eyes in shadows. Without hesitation, he walks up to your table and stands proudly in a wide stance with folded arms.

In an accented voice he says,

I have been sent to you to deliver this message. If you be creatures of honor, you will come to my master's aid at first light. It is not advisable to travel the Svalich woods at night!
He pulls from his tunic a sealed letter, addressed to all of you in beautiful flowing script. He drops the letter on the table.

Take the west road from here some five hours march down through the Svalich Woods. There you will find my master in Barovia.

Amid the silent stares of the patronage, the gypsy strides to the bar and says to the weary barkeep,

Fill the glasses, one and all. Their throats are obviously parched. He drops a purse heavy with gold on the bar. With that, he leaves.

The babble of the tavern voices resumes, although somewhat subdued. The letter is lying before you. The seal is in the shape of a crest you don't recognize.

Hail to thee of might and valor,

I, a lowly servant of Barovia, send honor to thee. We plead for thy fo desperately needed assistance.
The love of my life, Ireena Kolyana, has been afflicted by an evil so deadly that even the good people of our village cannot protect her. She languishes from her wound, and I would have her saved from this menace.

There is much wealth in this community. I offer all that might be had to thee and thy fellows if thou shalt but answer my desperate pleas.

Come quickly, for her time is at hand! All that I have shall be thine!

Kolyan Indirovich
Burgomaster

The letter is written very expertly in a formal cursive in the Common tongue. It looks quite fancy.

Ewan picks up the letter and after a few intense stares at certain things in the letter, gives a quick veredict. "Plenty of money, probably not a peasant. Fancy writing, probably not a merchant. Some sort of noble, I reckon? But that's quite obvious, given the crest." He puts the letter down and starts tapping on the bar's counter. "Barovia... where have I heard that name before..."

[roll0] Investigation to anything that is unusual in the letter.
[roll1] History to see if Ewan can remember anything about the crest or Barovia.

Kyrja flashed a knowing smile at Ewan, a blond eyebrow gracefully arched over her inquisitive blue eyes, "Barovia? The Balinok Mountains block travel from the east to the west, except for a valley between Baratok and Ghakis, the Old Svalich road runs between the two peaks, the only pass through. N'er been myself, but hear tell that it is prosperous due to merchant travel, but most do not tarry long."

She shrugged her shoulders, "I will not argue with drink and coin freely given though!" She raised her voice, "Another round, on our friends coin!" She indicated the table, and lifted her flagon, tossing her head back and draining it in a single pull.

As she sat back down, she looked conspiratorially at her allies, "Though I am curious, how did our Vistani friend know to find us here, and while my own skills as healer and mid-wife do not match our diminutive companion," she nudged Norra with a friendly elbow, "a wound, once given, needs healing not protection. What evil has befallen this Kolyana?"

Brikas could barely be seen through the thick cloud of smoke that surrounded his frame. The smoke originated from his crudely made pipe. As to what he was smoking no one truly knew but it seemed like a strange blend of herbs and weeds. The blend created a truly foul odor and made your eyes sting, that is unless you're Brikas. However, the only thing that truly penetrated the smoke cloud was Brikas' bright green eyes, very similar to a pair of fog lights.

"Well that was certainly ominous lads, but I would never turn down a free drink or a plead to help. We must all do our share for the greater good. It is after all our responsibility granted to us by our fair world."

Brikas believed that it's everyone's responsibility to make the world a better place but honestly the idea of traveling to the Svalich Woods intrigued him far too much for his own good. That was his nature after all.

Nora the Blessed, Follower of Tymora

Nora wobbles in her chair for a moment from the friendly, if abrupt, nudging of the Shieldmaiden. "Aye, could stand t'least look at her wound. If'n her Luck holds, the Lady Who Smiles shall see t'er restoration."

She reaches for another flagon, holding it up with a wide grin. "To Our Smiling Lady! For she has brought us a most fortunate quest!"

As Nora lifted her flagon, so too did Kyrja, and drained it in good measure. She stood, looked at the innkeep, then took her cloak and layed it upon the hearth, so that seated the fire would warm her back. She then withdrew from her satchel a bundle wrapped in oiled leather, meant to preserve whatever was within from the weather, and the damp of the wilds.

It was a worn wooden harp, almost golden in color with age, and the passage of hands, slowly she strung it, strumming occasionally, leaning her head close to listen to the sound of the strings. "A flagon good sir," she spoke to the innkeep as she walked towards the hearth, as she took a seat, she continued looking towards her friends, "and a song that speaks to our journey on the morrow."

She cleared her throat and began, her voice, low, sonorous, and deep, evoking the sounds of a lonely road, and an ethereal dream. Her fingers plucked at the strings, deftly weaving an image of a dark sky above that road, and twinkling stars, their light so faint as to cause one to question whether they were stars at all, and not perhaps the ghosts of those departed.

Hey, if I had, like I don’t have
So that I could buy a white horse
and ride, day and night
In reality, both in reality and in dreams

Each of us have their star
Which follows us as long as we live
For some, it shines bright
For some it’s destined to fade

Hey, if I had, like I don’t have
So that I could buy a white horse
and ride, day and night
In reality, both in reality and in dreams
Hey, if I had, like I don’t have
To buy a bed for you,
For you to sleep with me
For one thousand and, one thousand and one night…

As she finished, her voice stretching out the call for a thousand nights, the tones of the harp warm and inviting she smiled, sadly, and began to swaddle the harp, treating it as a mother would her child. She picked up her ale and ascended the stairs towards a warm bed, perhaps the last that she would enjoy for some time.

The group excitedly prepares themselves mentally for the trip into the nation of Barovia tomorrow. Lander takes care to exchange his crossbow and ammo for a normal bow instead.

As the group arrives closer to the border, they find a Vistani wagon called a vardos. It's members offer to give the party a ride in exchange for helping to defend the caravan in the event it's attacked. (However, they appear to be less friendly and charming than the gypsy who you saw at the tavern.)

The option here is as follows: The Vistani wagon option is faster, but walking the Old Svalich Road on foot will allow for a better chance of encounters. The wagon option doesn't cost you any money.

She smiled down at Nora, "Or perhaps the Smiling Lady is blessing us with fortune, by providing easy transport to our destination." Her face became more serious as she surveyed her group of companions, "While in Barovia, tell tales, share songs of joy, loss and sorrow, but be wary of he who does not laugh, smile, nor cry, for they are the soulless ones."

She smiled as she stepped up the boards to the rear of the wagon, she leaned against the railing, and arrayed her cloak such that her draw for either sword or shield would be unhindered.

(It is a two and half trip by wagon on the Old Svalich Road.)

Black pools of water stand like dark mirrors in and around the muddy roadway. Giant trees loom on both sides of the road their branches clawing at the mist.

...

The fog spills out of the forest to swally up the road behind you. Ahead, jutting from the impenetrable woods on both sides of the road, are high stone buttresses looming gray in the fog. Huge iron gates hang on the stonework. Dew clings with cold tenacity to the rusted bars. Two headless statues of armed guardians flank the gate, their heads now lying among the weeds at their feet. They greet you only with silence.

The gates open in front of you as the lead wagon enters the village.

Tall shapes loom out of the dense fog that surrounds everything. The muddy ground underfoot give way to slick, wet cobblestones. The tall shapes - dark as tombstones - become recognizable as village dwellings. The windows of each house stare out from pools of blackness. Nestled among these solemn dwellings are a handful of closed up shots. Even the tavern is shut tight.

A soft whimpering draws your eye toward a pair of children standing in the middle of an otherwise lifeless street.

Nora exits the carriage first, as always, and heads towards the children with an easy smile and Tymora in her heart. Opportunity after opportunity for these last few days, Lady Luck must be truly pleased with her child's work as of late.

After shushing the boy, the girl turns to you and says,

There's a monster in our house!

She then points to a tall brick row house that has seen better days. Its windows are dark. It has a gated portico on the ground floor, and the rusty gate is slightly ajar. The houses on either side are abandoned, their windows and doors boarded up.

(At this point you have separated from the vardos. Some of its members wave good bye as the caravan continues further into the town, down the road, beyond your vision into fog. It would seem that the Vistani have camp somewhere further into Barovia.)

The girl nervously introduces themselves as Rosavalda ("Rose") and Thornboldt ("Thorn"). Thorn is weeping and carrying a stuffed doll. Rose is trying to hush him.

The street is still lifeless; you don't see anyone else nearby and there is nothing you can discern nearby that is making sound.

You try peering into a couple of spots nearby that strike you as good vantage points for spying or ambushing someone, and you eventually see a bat perched in shadow fly off somewhere else into the fog.

Speaking of the fog, as the party has helped Lander and Ewan don their gear, the fog appears to have grown thicker. A couple of buildings on the block that you could previously see clearly from this spot have become nothing more than faded silhouettes in the background.

~- Rose and Thorn's House - Entrance -~
A wrought-iron gate with hinges on one side and a lock on the other fills the archway of a stone portico. The gate is unlocked, and its rusty hinges shriek when the gate is opened. Oil lamps hang from the portico ceiling by chains, flanking a set of oaken doors that open into a grand foyer.

Hanging on the south wall of the foyer is a shield emblazoned with a coat-of-arms - a stylized golden windmill on a red field - flanked by framed portraits of stony-faced aristocrats. Mahogany-framed double doors leading from the foyer to the main hall are set with panes of stained glass.

The only option is to move forward into the foyer...

~- Rose and Thorn's House - Main Hall -~

A wide hall runs the width of the house, with a black marble fireplace at one end and a sweeping, red marble staircase at the other. Mounted on the wall above the fireplace is a longsword with a windmill cameo worked into the hilt. The wood-paneled walls are ornately sculpted with images of vines, flowers, nymphs, and satyrs. The decorative paneling follows the staircase as is it circles upward to the second floor. The house's interior is cloaked in darkness.

There are six doors in the main hall.

Entrance doorway: This is the door you entered the room from.
Adjacent Door: When facing the Entrance Doorway, this door is to its left alongside the same wall.
Door Opposite Entrance: There is a single door directly across from the Entrance Doorway.
Closet Door: There is a door directly to the right of the previous one. From the structure of the house, it appears to be a closet of some kind.
Fifth Door: To the right of the closet, there is a five foot bend in the wall towards the back of the house. The bend leads to one door that is facing the entrance...
Sixth Door: ...and another door that is facing the fireplace.

There is one staircase in the main hall.

Staircase to Second Floor: A sweeping, red marble staircase. The decorative paneling are ornately sculpted with images of vines, flowers, nymphs, and satyrs. The paneling follows the staircase as it circles upward to the second floor.

So this is fairly important information about how I'm going to give you guys hints. As you might have noticed, I've been highlighting a lot of key phrases, typically by using bold font because I think it pops out more. Usually this has been People, places, names, and such. I am going to continue to do that for things that are obviously important that I want you to either remember or to find later, but there are definitely things that warrant your attention that I'm not going to highlight. For example, I have only highlighted the Entrance Doorway because it's somewhere you've already been before, but the other five doors and the staircase are obviously things you should check out. But there are other things in the main hall that I didn't highlight that you can Investigate and Perceive.

There is no obvious danger in the Main Hall.

Kyrja clanged the hilt of her broadsword against the iron boss at the center of her shield, the sound echoing across the entry way. She reared back her head and roared in a powerful voice, "We are not CHILDREN, nor do we FRIGHTEN as easily! COME OUT AND FACE A WARRIOR BORN AND BRED!"

She watched and listened as the interior of the house echoed with her challenge, shield forward, broadsword held back and low, her feet wide, and weight on the balls of her feet ready to snap in any direction at a moments notice.

As far as Varkyrja can tell, there is no reaction to her challenge from the house's inhabitants.

The house's interior is cloaked in darkness, but you can see most of the main hall due to the light produced by Nora's coin and Ewan's Torch.

It opens to a small cloakroom. There are several black cloaks and a top hat inside.
Fifth Door: To the right of the closet, there is a five foot bend in the wall towards the back of the house. The bend leads to one door that is facing the entrance...

~- Rose and Thorn's House: Dining Room -~

The centerpiece of this wood-paneled dining room is a carved mahogany (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14D5wKSVlXg) table surrounded by eight high-backed chairs with sculpted armrests and cushioned seats. A crystal chandelier hangs above the table, which is covered with resplendent silverware and crystal-ware polished to a dazzling shine. Mounted above the marble fireplace is a mahogany-framed painting of an alpine vale. The wall paneling is carved with elegant images of deer among the trees. Red drapes cover the windows, and a tapestry depicting hunting dogs and horse-mounted aristocrats chasing after a wolf hangs from an iron rod bolted to the south wall.

After a cursory inspection of the room, you notice that there are only two doors in the dining room and that both of them lead back to the main hall. A look outside any of the three windows reveals that fog outside now surrounds the entire house. After confirming that there is nothing hostile or dangerous inside, you leave the doors to the Dining Hall open.

~- Rose and Thorn's House - Den of Wolves -~

This oak-paneled room looks like a hunter's den. Mounted above the fireplace is a stag's head, and positioned around the outskirts of the room are three stuffed wolves. Two padded chairs draped in animal furs face the hearth, with an oak table between them supporting a cask of wine, two carved wooden goblets, a pipe rack, and a candelabrum. A chandelier hangs above a cloth-covered table surrounded by four chairs. Two cabinets stand against the walls. The east cabinet sports a lock, but the west cabinet is unlocked and holds a box of playing cards and an assortment of wine glasses.

~- Rose and Thorn's House - Kitchen -~

The kitchen is tidy, with dishware, cookware, and utensils neatly placed on shelves. A worktable has a cutting board and rolling pin atop it. A stone, dome-shaped oven stands near the east wall, its bent iron stovepipe connecting to a hole in the ceiling. Behind the stove and to the left is a thin door leading to a well-stocked pantry.

After a little investigation, you find a dumbwaiter in the southwestern corner of the kitchen behind a small door. The dumbwaiter rope-and-pulley system seems to lead to somewhere above the kitchen. Brikas and Nora may be able to fit into the box and be elevated to...where the dumbwaiter goes.

Kyrja accompanied her friend, the Tymorean Priestess into the dining room, she walked the perimeter of the room, and whispered to Nora, "My gut tells me there is something hidden here, this whole situation feels ... wrong?" She had seen houses as splendid as this before, but typically the owners had servants who managed their household, even when they were absent. Aristocrats did not leave their homes open to any who would happen to wander by, especially when located a short distance from a major trade route like the Old Svalich road.

She lifted the table cloth with the tip of her blade, peering beneath the opulent table. "Where are the servants, there should at least be a milkmaid for the children, do you not think?" She asked Nora quietly.

Following Nora's lead Kyrja will also take another active Perception check while walking the length and breadth of the Dining room, specifically concentrating on the area under the table and the fireplace & hearth. Embers there perhaps? [roll0].

"If not a milkmaid, than at least some sort of caretaker for the little ones."

She absently wraps her hand around the handle of a dagger, there was something unsettling about this place, but she just could not put her finger on what. Tymora favors the bold, but within this silent place, of skulls and serpents, even her smile seemed to be muted.

"Either way, we have a quest that stands before us, and a few floors yet to uncover."

Unlit oil lamps are mounted on the walls of this elegant hall. Red velvet drapes cover the windows of this room. Situated in corners of the room are two overstuffed chairs. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves line the south wall. A rolling wooden ladder allows one to more easily reach the high shelves...Or it would, if it wasn't pinning Brikas at the moment.

The desk has several items resting atop it: an oil lamp, a jar of ink, a quill pen, a tinderbox, and a letter kit containing a red wax candle, four blank sheets of parchment, and a wooden seal bearing the Durst family's insignia (a windmill). The desk drawer is empty except for an iron key.

The bookshelves hold hundreds of tomes covering a range of topics including history, warfare, and alchemy. There are also several shelves containing first-edition collected works of poetry and fiction.

Brikas appears to be bruised and embarrassed when he is found.

So, normally I would PM this, but since I'm botting Brikas it doesn't matter!

As Lander looks around the room (with poor Brikas stuck underneath the ladder) he notices on one of the shelves that there is a red book without any information on the spine. It looks like this book is in fact a fake!

The house's interior is cloaked in darkness, but you can see most of the main hall due to the light produced by Nora's coin and Ewan's Torch.

There are six doors in the main hall.

Entrance doorway: This is the door you entered the room from. It is closed.
Doorway to Hunting Den: This door is adjacent to the Entrance Doorway and leads to a Hunting showroom. Nora has looted the cabinet inside and found three crossbows of varying size!
Left Dining Hall Door: This door leads to the Dining Hall. It is directly across from the Entrance Doorway. It is open.
Closet Door: There is a door directly to the right of the previous one. It opens to a small cloakroom. There are several black cloaks and a top hat inside. It is open.
Right Dining Hall Door: To the right of the closet, there is a five foot bend in the wall towards the back of the house. The bend leads to one door that is facing the entrance that leads to the Dining Hall. It is open.
Kitchen Door: The kitchen door is adjacent to the right dining hall door. The food in the pantry appears to well-stocked and fresh. There is a dumbwaiter that Brikas and Nora may be able to ride in.

There is one staircase in the main hall.

Staircase to Second Floor: A sweeping, red marble staircase. The decorative paneling are ornately sculpted with images of vines, flowers, nymphs, and satyrs. The paneling follows the staircase as it circles upward to the second floor.

~- Rose and Thorn's House - Upper Hall -~

Unlit oil lamps are mounted on the walls of this elegant hall. Hanging above the mantelpiece is a wood-framed portrait of the Durst family: Gustav and Elizabeth Durst with their two smiling children, Rose and Thorn. Cradled in the father's arms is a swaddled baby, which the mother regards with a hint of scorn.

Standing suits of armor flank wooden doors in the east and west halls. Each suit of armor clutches a spear and has a visored helm shaped like a wolf's head. The doors are engraved with dancing youths.

The red marble staircase that started on the first floor continues its upward spiral to the floor above you. A cold draft can be felt coming down the steps.

There are three doors on this floor.

Western Door above the Den of Wolves.
Library Door. On the same wall as the servant's door but farther from the stairs is a door leading to an impressive sized library. Lander has found that there is a suspicious red book on the one shelf that appears to have a secret to it.
Door to Servant's Quarters. Located right in front of the staircase on the second floor, this door leads to an undecorated servant's rooms. Some uniforms hang in the closet.

The more Lander looks at it, the more convinced he is...the fake book must reveal a secret passage (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BookcasePassage)!

Lander confidently pulls the fake book back and another bookcase swings open like a door to reveal a secret passage. As Lander releases the fake book and begins to walk towards it, the secret door slowly begins to whir shut.

Taking a peak inside, Lander notices that there are no other exits to this secret room. If someone is to investigate the room, something must be done to keep the room open.

Lander and Brikas prop the secret door open with the ladder while they investigate. The secret room contains bookshelves packed with tomes describing fiend-summoning rituals and the necromantic rituals of a cult called the Priests of Osybus.

A heavy wooden chest with clawed iron feet stands against the south wall, its lid half-closed. Sticking out of the chest is a skeleton in leather armor. Close inspection reveals that the skeleton belongs to a human who triggered a poison dart trap. Three darts are stuck in the dead adventurer's armor and ribcage. The dart-firing mechanism inside the chest appears to no longer function.

Clutched in the skeleton's left hand is a letter bearing the seal of Strahd von Zarovich, which the adventurer tried to remove from the chest. Written in flowing script, the letter reads as follows:

My most pathetic servant,

I am not a messiah sent to you by the Dark Powers of this land. I have not come to lead you on a path to immortality. However many souls you have bled on your hidden altar, however many visitors you have tortured in your dungeon, know that you are not the ones who brought me to this beautiful land. You are but worms writhing in my earth.
You say that you are cursed, your fortunes spent. You abandoned love for madness, took solace in the bosom of another woman, and sired a stillborn son. Cursed by darkness? I have no doubt. Save you from your wretchedness? I think not. I much prefer you are you are.

Your dread lord and master,
Strahd von Zarovich

Peering inside the treasure chest, Lander and Brikas find the following:

Three blank books with black leather covers worth 25gp each
Bless, Protection from Poison, and Spiritual Weapon as Spell Scrolls (1 of each)
The deed to the house
The deed to a windmill
A signed will by Gustav and Elisabeth Durst bequeathing the house, windmill, and all other family property to Rosavalda and Thornboldt

Confident they have found everything in the room, Lander and Brikas leave the secret room. Brikas is openly unnerved by the letter.

Ewan felt lost. He had been analyzing the walls for the last few minutes - this house felt weird. He heard a THUNK upstairs, and shouted out for an answer: "Huh? What's going on up there?"

No one responds to Ewan's cry from upstairs, but Ewan hears the sound of rushed footsteps and what sounds like Brikas and Lander's voices coming from upstairs. The two sound like they're talking (but you can't quite make out the words) and eventually the voices become quieter until they vanish for a couple of moments.

They resound strongly as the two argue, Lander leading the duo back down the stairs.

"Aye, they're monsters here, and they kill. An empty house with poisoned traps? We'd best leave this place and bring the children to this villagers Laird or squire."

"What are you talking about, lad? That's hardly the problem. The deeds to this entire house and a windmill were in there not to mention several hundred golds worth of scrolls and books! Let us get the children safely to them, and listen to what the Law says about this house, before we continue."

"That...is a fair point."

The duo walk right past Ewan and head for the front door. Lander attempts to open the front door, and stares at the knob for a moment muttering to himself about rats and traps. He moves over to a window and tries to open it. When it doesn't, he tries slashing at it with a sword. The sword bounces unnaturally off the window and an eerie laughter bellows through the floorboards. As if sure he has solved the puzzle, Lander triumphantly walks back up the stairs (almost dragging Brikas with him) saying to him,

"So it's magic! Perhaps you know how to fight magic. Perhaps the spell scrolls will help. The only way I know is to slay the mage. There may be more traps here.

Brikas makes a motion to Ewan, Norra, and Varkyrja for help as Lander drags him up the stairs. At the top of the stairs again, Lander seems to state and contemplate the suits of armor on display throughout the house.

Climbing the red, marble staircase to its full height the party reaches the third floor, shivering beneath the oppressive chill of the draft emanating from above them.

Curiously, this floor is dusty and unkempt in stark contrast to the rest of the house the party has seen so far. The hidden patterns of the staircase and the ambiance began more obviously sinister as the party ascends higher into the darkness. The floorboards of the stairs began to groan underfoot as the party ascends; the air becomes dusty and drafty; the wallpaper, the furnishings, everything that pops into their little spheres of light looks faded, old, and ancient. The third floor seems much smaller, cramped, and congested than the others as if the ceiling itself was lowering on them.

The party's final step ends on a dusty balcony where a suit of black armor - draped in cobwebs - stands against the western wall (the one in the direction of the entrance).

Oil lamps are mounted on the oak-paneled walls, which are carved with woodland scenes of trees, falling leaves, and tiny critters.

Brikas Arixis seems to be completely ignorant of it in the dim light, but everyone else has noticed the pattern by now: there are tiny corpses hanging from the trees - some crucified others in a noose - and worms (or perhaps snakes) bursting up from the ground.

Oh, I'm so long the interior decorator decided *cough* to move on from those spooky designs. At *cough cough* least one of the floors has a happy *cough* styling to it.

Hidden behind a bookcase in the library is a secret room opened by the suspicious red book. The party has looted it.
Door to Servant's Quarters. Located right in front of the staircase on the second floor, this door leads to an undecorated servant's rooms. Some uniforms hang in the closet.

There are two stairs on this floor.

Staircase to the first floor: You have already fully explored the first floor.
Staircase to the third floor: There is a cold draft coming down the stairs.

There are four doors in this room.

A Large double door in front of the staircase.
A door directly across from it that can only seen from the stairs by the doorknob jutting into view.
A door against the wall opposite the stairs in the corner to the left.
A door against the west wall; adjacent to the previous door and the black suit of armor.

There is one staircase in this room.

Staircase to second floor: To happier times.

Taking the Heavy Crossbow and ammo from his colleague, Lander moves over to the dusty, cobweb covered black armor intending to wear it. When he steps close to it however, the black armor runs at Lander and punches him twice! This suit of armor wasn't just a suit of armor at all!

Attack 1: [roll0]; DMG: [roll1]

Black Armor: Full Power.

Lander: 4/12 HP

-> Lander and Varkyrja are in melee range of the Black Armor.
-> Norra, Brikas, and Ewan are standing right behind them, 10' away from the Black Armor.
