Hey guys,

I am getting set up to run a Rise of the Runelords campaign.

My issue is thus. I want to start the heroes at 4th level.

My plan is to make the swallowtail festival be not just a holy event, but also celebration about the heroes and there recent activity (still to be determined, by the players) of saving sandpoint.

My plans for the first few 'boss' encouters and named nps are as follows

Goblin Commando Ranger 3
Tsuto Ninja (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?277587-Ninja-Re-tool-Please-Critque) 4
Korvus Fighter (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?318268-My-Latest-big-project!-(-a-big-deal-fighter-fix)) 4
Erylium Sorcerer 5
Gogmurt Druid 6
Warcheif Ripnugget Fighter (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?318268-My-Latest-big-project!-(-a-big-deal-fighter-fix)) 4/ Marshal 2
Brythazmus Ranger 2/Rogue 2

OF course I will be adding a couple extra mobs for some, like the fight against nualia being with an extra yeth hound.

I expect the extra levels to balance out in late part 3 so that the heroes will be a level higher than the module expects and they proabably will not gain a level until the glassworks.

Is this a good idea? I want them to be local heroes who eventually end up saving the lands.

I am hesitant about adding mythic into it, but might with the caveat that only 2 or 3 mythic tiers are ever attained.

Does anybody have any advice or opinions on if this is a good idea or not?
