Alright Google fu has failed me.

Essentially back when I used pcgen (before my computer crashes irreparably) in the book list was a third party book that was all aboit building your own class.

Note this was not the character creation engine off or any similar PDF.

This was an actual book. For the life of me I can't remember the name of it. But if you followed the instructions for getting the most up to date pcgen data set it was listed in there.

Essentially you had a number of build points and using those points you bought everything from hit die type to spells per day etc.

Anyone else know of this book or has pcgen and can look?

Need the name and publisher

I gotcha man!

Here's the Codex Persona (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/51255/Eclipse-The-Codex-Persona-Shareware)

And with that, I have a question, does anyone know of a good way to update that for Pathfinder use? Or if any changes would be needed at all?

You are a wonderful person! I don't know if I'm ever going to USE this system, but I may toy around with it.

Has anyone here used it before? And if so, how did it go?

I've used it before. Building it level by level at each level gets tedious and takes forever but if you build a class at level 20 all at once you can then split it up exactly as if it was a normal class. Great for having a rule system for class creation and players who want a legit class built the way they want to play.
