Quick question about ice knife

So recently I found the spell ice knife. In the description it says that for every 2 caster levels it gets a +2 bonus on the attack roll, so is that bonus in addition to all other bonuses like dexterity and BAB? Or is it just that bonus.

Yep, normal ranged attack (not touch, which is probably why it gives that bonus to hit). So it'd be Bab+Dex+Misc+2/2 CL

it should be in addition to. That's to help balance out the fact that it requires a normal ranged attack roll as opposed to a ranged touch attack roll, something that full arcane casters are notoriously bad at. The +2/2CL bonus averages out to granting the caster the equivalent of full BAB bonus for the purpose of casting the spell.
