Evening Folks

I've been tinkering with an idea for the past few days about a front line combatant/healer sort of character. This is pretty far outside of my wheelhouse [as that wheelhouse is ranger and anything Arcane] so I'm not sure where to start building it. 25 point buy. Basic SRD stuff. No of the extra splat books. My first thought was to be a 2 Weapon using Hospitaler Paladin focusing on Power Attacks and Smiting while also doing some quick selective channels and lay on hands.

Are there any other classes that can really fill the combat medic role?

Sounds like an Oradin (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?257365-PF-Oradin-Mini-Guide-Or-How-to-be-a-Healbot-minus-the-bot) build may work out nicely for you.

Here's a link to that Medic Class (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?483472-Dreamscarred-Press-Presents-The-MEDIC!/page7&highlight=%5BPathfinder%5D+Medic) mentioned above. Seems to be a blast to play so far.

Warpriest could work as well if you can't use DSP stuff as they are 3rd party.

You can't go wrong with the Medic's AmbuLancer archetype.
