Note: For any ability requiring spell sacrifice no two spells of the same spell level can be used in the same round.

Evasion: An Arcane Brawler can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If a Arcane Brawler makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save (such as a red dragon’s fiery breath or a fireball), the Arcane Brawler instead takes no damage. Evasion can only be used if the Arcane Brawler is wearing light armor or no armor. It is an extraordinary ability.

Affinity Damage: Starting at 1st level the arcane brawler can, as a free action, sacrifice any spell to give him a damage bonus equal to 1d6/level of spell sacrificed, discharged/dismissed at will, on his next successful attack. Damage can be held for 1 minute/level of spell sacrificed. This ability can only be used to a maximum of once per attack. (This is a spell-like ability)

Elemental Affinity: at level one the arcane brawler chooses one element that will determine the type of damage incurred by the Spell sac ability.

Earth: Acid
Fire: Fire
Water: Cold
Air: Electricity

Charisma to attack: starting at level 4, as a free action, the arcane brawler may sacrifice a spell to gain an attack bonus equal to his charisma modifier for a number of rounds equal to the level of spell sacrificed. This is an enhancement bonus. (This is a spell-like ability)

Haste: at 8th level the arcane brawler can gains Haste as per the spell for a number of rounds equal to 5+ Charisma modifier per day. (This is an extraordinary ability)

Convert spell: at level 6 the arcane brawler gains one spell to his known spells that is any spell of 3rd level or higher based on the characters ability to cast the spell. The range of this spell is converted to touch. This happens again at levels 10, 14, and 18 (This is a spell-like ability)

Affinity Resistance: At level 12 the arcane brawler gains the resistance to damage of the element of his affinity equal to his charisma modifier.

To me, this seems more like a prestige class (Monk/Sorcerer) than a base class.

Perhaps prerequsites something like Still Mind and be able to spontaniously cast 2nd level arcane spells.

Also, check out the 3.5 SRD (www.d20srd.org) to update yourself to 3.5. It beats 3.0 with an ugly stick.

Not to be rude, but you could easily change all that into a Table that is nice and pretty.

{table} Level | Base attack Bonus | Reflex Save | Fortitude Save | Will Save | Unarmed Damage | Special Abilities then push enter
1)|0|+0|+0|+2| | Unarmed 1d4 Elemental Damage, elemental affinity, Familiar
2)|+1|+0|+0|+3| Unarmed 1d4 Evasion
3) | +2 |+1 | +1 | +3 | Unarmed 1d6 {/table}

Just replace the { with [, and } with ], and take out the t"hen push enter here" It looks like this.
{table] Level | Base attack Bonus | Reflex Save | Fortitude Save | Will Save |Unarmed Damage | Special Abilities
1)|0|+0|+0|+2| Unarmed 1d4 | Elemental Damage, elemental affinity, Familiar
2)|+1|+0|+0|+3| Unarmed 1d4 | Evasion
3) | +2 |+1 | +1 | +3 | Unarmed 1d6 | [/table]
You see what to do right? Put a | between each different category, and then to move down a column, push enter.

They might not be as powerful as a sorcerer, but at later levels, these guys would be useless, Sorcerer powers at later levels mostly only ranges, and monks are almost completely useless at later levels.

I don't know 3.0, but I rather like it. I'd play one.
I definitely agree it's more of a prestige class...
but, are there prestige classes in 3.0?

Then again, if I played one, I'd convert it to 3.5.
