CoS is obviously intended for starting characters up through about lvl 10ish. I have players interested in it for their OotA characters. They've finished part 1 and escaped but they skipped Gracklstugh completely and are a little low (mostly 5th or 6th). Would it be viable to run a compressed Strahd and just skip a lot of the non-crucial content to catch them up in levels for part 2?

I'd run new characters for Strahd. JMO
