To say that Gundren Rockseeker was excited is an understatement.

As soon as you step into the tavern, he hits you on the back, greets you like an old friend and sends you to the rest of the party with a beer in hand. You find it a little hard to get any words in edgewise when he's over the moon and spinning tall tales of adventures past, but despite being more than a little drunk, he's surprisingly quiet about what exactly he was happy about.

Finally, about three hours and table full of beers in, he stands on a table and announces just what you are all gathered for.

"Aye! *hic* See, me and me buddy here, Sildar Hall- *hic* Hallwinter, we have gotta be goin'. We've got important business! But me wagon ain't ready, and it's still bein' f- *hic* filled up. The durned thing's leavin' tomorrow at noon. I'll p-p-pay you 10 gold pieces for escortin' it to Phandalin. Help me bring it to *hic* err...Barthen's Provisions. Owner's a nice fellow. When me and me brothers got it all s-sorted out, we'll let you see the big surprise for yeself!"

As Sildar gently lets Gundren out the door, he pays you one more favor and buys an entire keg of ale, ordering all of you to finish off and "not waste perfectly good dwarven brew".

The next day, you leave Neverwinter's gate with your new companions and the wagon, a cart almost filled to the brim with food and mining supplies. You finally travel along the high road, heading south towards Phandalin, with hints of the sea to the west and Neverwinter Wood to the east.

And so it begins. Please state who's driving the wagon (up to two people), who's sitting in the wagon, who's walking besides or behind, etc.

I hate the city Taris thinks to himself and jump just a bit as Gundren slaps his back. He pulls his Cloak a bit tighter around him and his hood lower trying not to rip holes in this one. Letting his Eyes adjust to the dimness of the Tavern he turns to Gundren “Already at it huh….Must be something really good.”

Taris makes his way over to the Table indicated and finds a seat in the Darker corner, somewhere to be less seen if it’s possible in this far too crowded place.
Waiting for any others to make their way in watching the crowd as it is.

After Gundrens request “And who is it at thisBarthens Provisions are we supposed to be meeting?”

I would likely be better riding in the wagon to avoid any unwanted attention.

Klemm the Bard

<Glancing at Taris> "Me guess would be 'Barthen' himself. Well, best get to it."

Klemm tosses his backpack in the back of the cart, stumps up to the driver's bench, and whips the oxen into motion. He spends the days with the reins tied loosely around one foot, while leaning back in the cart, plucking tunes on his lute, and gazing at the sky.

"So how do ye all know Gundren? Me, I'm feared I filled his head wi' too many tales of adventure when he come to see me perform at the Smitten Lass. Taggin' along to make sure he ain't servin' all his ale to elves."

"Serving one's ale to elves" is a dwarven expression for wasting your time and/or money on something foolish.

During the evening Alden mostly sips at his ale keeping quiet. "Why not. I don't have much to right now. I'll take the job", Alden says between grunts.

Next day Alden is sitting in the wagon, nursing a small headache and smoking his pipe. "Should now better by now", he mutters.

He chuckles at Klemm's comment. "I've drank with him a couple of times. Decent enough fellow. I'm currently out of money, and he's paying well for something like this".

"Aye, decent enough pay, I guess. Although I doubt whatever shack they call an Inn in this pissant town we're headed to will have enough customers to pay me what I'm used to fer me stories an' songs."

<hacks up a wad of phlegm and spits over the side of the cart>

"Well th'elf's already scampered ahead I see. So wha' about you, blue boy?" <peers at Taris> "Ye seem a lil' more at ease now we're on the road. You lose a bet to Gundren to be stuck escortin' his vittles?"

Garrett
During the night Garrett introduces himself to Gundren saying that Avernus send him to help on his request, but he does get happy to hear that it is a paid job, he would've done this for free for his master, but some gold coins could not hurt. After that he keeps himself quiet just observing his new 'companions'. The halfling does not drink a single drop of ale, but he does eat a lot, twice as much as someone would expect a small guy like him to eat, at some point when most of the people on the table are drunk he nimbly grabs a small piece of cheese without no one noticing and gives it to Pip, a light brown and white small mice that during this whole time is on Garrett's pouch.

The next day Garrett jumps over the wagon keeping himself on top of it ready to jump and fight if needed. When the wagon is about to leave neverwinter Garrett thinks to himself "How long since I left neverwinter for a long trip? More than two years I think...how quickly times passes by." he gets sad for a moment, because despite all the city's problems this was his home.

During the travel Garrett try to talk to his companions answering the talkative dwarf questions "I'm here because my master - Avernus the leader monk of the Chauntea's monastery - asked me to help Gundren out. They used to be pals back when Avernus was not a monk already." Garrett makes a small pause and then finishes saying "Although, I do not mind being paid!"

One can only hope it would be 'Barthen' However Many times I have found that the Name of the place is of a proprietor long since gone.

On the wagon:

I came upon him while he was hauling some of his wares. he was sitting on top of his wagon with a broken axel, swinging his axe at a bunch of kobolds while laughing. I think he had an ale in his hands at the time. I lent a hand and the next thing I know I'm running the next few caravans with him.

Taris leans back almost further into his cloak seemingly uncomfortable with others around. He turns his head to watching the road

Avernus asked me, because most of my brothers are either too old or too young for an long travel like this, besides not all of them are trained in martial arts, that this job may require. And I gladly accepted, since I own Avernus and the monastery all, since they took me out of the streets. The weather remains clear and sunny, and with the horses setting a strong but comfortable pace, you travel quickly. Two days of travelling down the High Road pass without incident. Veering east along Triboar Trail (a meandering path through a forest with dense thickets), you travel for another half a day. As you come around a bend, however, you spot two dead horses sprawled in front of you, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it.

More worryingly though, they look suspiciously like Gundren's and Sildar's horses.

"What's this now? Woah, horses, hold up now."

Plucking a last, discordant note, Klemm pulls the cart to a stop and stands up in the bench, lute held loosely in his left hand, and his right hand on his rapier. He peers carefully ahead, searching for danger.

"Well you could say I am from all over. I don't really stay in one place for very long." Taris Pulls back his hood to reveal a set of glistening black horns that ride his skull only to curl up just after his pointed ears. His shoulder length white hair is slicked back and stands stark against his dark blue skin, a pair of gleaming yellow eyes greet you from beneath the ridge of his horns. The stories of Demon pacts, and dark rituals that surround this race surges to the forefront of your mind. "for obvious reasons" He sits back a look of...Resignation?, contempt? on his face.

On the Trail:

Taris immediately tenses up and readies his cross bow. Scanning the Tree line around them as they come into view of the horrific sight before them. Thoughts of the old dwarf and his brother surges into his mind. Gundern had earned his trust and respect, if something had happened to him Taris will visit the myths of his people upon those responsible. His right hand begins to Crackle with a purple energy.

I am going to keep an eye out on the surrounding area at the site of the horses. I would like to ready action if that's allowed to cast Eldrich Bolt at any enemies that charge out into view

Taris hops down from the wagon, Tail swishing now outside of the Cloak, Cross bow now slung over his back but the Crackling energy still pulses in his right hand as it clenches into a fist. Cautiously he walks up towards the horses keeping an eye on the surrounding ground for any signs of tracks, drag marks, blood, other arrows. He doesn't want to disturb the area and rob any potential clues as to what had happened here.

He kneels down to the horses and examines the saddle and any (or lack there of) gear that accompanied them. He inspects the Wounds of the horses to see if anything other than an arrow took them down before turning his attention to the Leather case. He has a slight hesitation to touch case.

As Taris approaches the horses, a low guttural scream fills the area. A second or two later, five goblins burst from the trees, surprising the party! The two in front and the three behind draw their weapons and attack!

Since you don't know the goblin's names, and I'm not going to call them "goblin 1" and "goblin 2", I'll nickname them based on their physical traits, or what you can see.

Eyepatch and Wart-Face are in front of the party, beyond the dead horses. Lost-A-Shoe, Kleptomaniac and Swears-A-Lot are at the back of the party.

People at the front of the wagon (Taris and Roland, Alden): Eyepatch and Wart-Face are 10 feet from you. The other goblins are 30 feet behind you.

People sitting in the wagon (Garret, Klemm): The goblins in front are 20 feet from you. The goblins behind you are also 20 feet from you.

People at the back of the wagon (None): Lost-A-Shoe, Kleptomaniac and Swears-A-Lot are 10 feet from you. The other goblins are way in front, 30 feet from you.

Holding his hand to his chest Taris starts to look over the bodies of the Goblins, Looking for similar black shafted ones that fell the horses. could this be part of a bigger tribe? "Careful, more of these pests could be about. Everyone keep your eyes out they got the drop on us once and I don't want to get caught off guard again. Klemm take a look at that leather case I wasn't able to get to it before the attack."
Taris starts to grab the dead bodies and haul them off the road and out of the wagons way putting them into one area for easier searching. The grizzly task doesn't seem to phase the Tiefling as he throws anything of use off to one side. His breathe seems to be coming in staggered gasps and a large amount of blood pools at his feet while he does so. After the bodies are thoroughly searched for items of use and possibly the black shafted arrows Taris sits down by the wagon clearly out of breath. "I suggest we take a moment to collect our selves"

As you examine the case, you realize it's a pouch to hold maps. And it's open and empty. As the adventures take a rest and examine the nearby area, they notice that there is a hidden trail leading to the north, near the body of the goblin that Garret punched to death.

If you succeed on a DC10 Survival Check
It looks like half a dozen goblins have come and gone along this trail, as well as signs of two human-sized bodies being hauled away from the ambush site.

For Taris
A quick search of one of the goblins reveals a small pouch which contains three potions. The three potions used to have labels, but the labels have fallen off the bottles onto the bottom of the bag. One label says "Healing", one says "Poison", and one doesn't say anything.

Through the foliage, he can make out some sort of clearing on the other side - two goblins were lounging around on wooden planks that were used to flatten the briars. Although they were armed and ready for a moment's action, they weren't really concentrating, preferring to chat with each other and make the occasional rude gesture.

Before Klemm could report this to the party however, there was a loud splash behind him. Turning around, he spots Rolen face-first in the river, making a racket as he manages to pull himself from the waters.

Both goblins immediately rush forward. They didn't spot Klemm at all, and charged towards Rolen and the rest of the party.

As the adventurers quickly made their way back to the entrance, the rumbling behind them quickly became a roar. You left the cave just as a wave of water rush out of it. If you were any slower, you would definitely have been caught in the wave.

As the adventurers climb the western passage, the floor shudders...and suddenly gives way under Alden, sending him tumbling back into the main passage! With some quick thinking, we manages to steady himself before he hits the ground head first.

Alden is above 100 pounds in weight (chain mail being 55 lbs, and all his weapons, rations, etc).
If he fails his DC10 Dexterity Saving throw [roll0], he takes [roll1] damage.

You hear a snicker of goblin laughter as Alden falls.

Turning the corner, you see a large cave, divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The hair is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins.

You are on the lower half of the cave, along with six goblins, all armed and ready. A single goblin stands on the upper ledge, using a tied up and gagged Sildar Hallwinter as a shield.

"Truce, or this human dies!"

"Sildar are you alright, are there any other goblins up there with you?, Where's Gundren"

Trying to get a better grasp on the situation he looks around to take stock of who and or what is around them wondering about their chances....

He starts making his way back, muttering a string of curses as he walks.

"Alright you sorry little rodents. Where's the dwarf? Give both of them back alive, and we'll leave you continue your miserable little lives in this damp little cave", Alden says with disgust and anger thick in his voice.

Taris (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=866695)

Taris turns to Alden and shrugs a little ”If I thought that a little tumble would have hurt you then I would have been concerned. Are you telling me that you are one of those ‘Delicate’ dwarfs that I have been hearing about?” A wry smile plastered on his face. ”I agree you about breaking something, right now about 7 little somethings to be specific”

Hearing that Alden has taken to the scare tactics road Taris releases some of his arcane energy to pool around his right hand, it’s eerie purplish glow and crackling trails of energy relay a hunger for those who have acted out against him. With his hood down, he glares at each Goblin that he can see as if taking a mental note of their location, his eyes flashing a wicked red color as he locks eyes with each in turn his tail swishing in turn with his glare. Finally his attention turns to the Goblin that thinks he has the upper hand in the matter, the one holding Sildar.

As Alden finishes speaking Taris steps up next to him, eyes flashing red. When he opens his mouth it seems a lot louder than normal. ”You, the one who holds my prey in their hands, you speak truce yet you attack us. My hunger for souls grows every minute and I see 7 morsels before me. Tell me why is it that I should not consume you! ’Sildar, just play along we are going to get you out of this’ Taris says to Sildar telepathically.

As he finishes speaking the Camp fire swirls and flares with purple and Red color. Sounds of Bats being agitated fill the room as thunder booms from somewhere deeper in the cave behind from where they came. From behind the goblins whispers can be heard, Feed us, hungry, devour them, no escape, doom seemingly from all around the little beasties.

Trying to not let the concern show on his face about this bugbear Taris feels the song that Klemm starts, it reminds him of better times when he was first out exploring the wilds, his first discovery that led to his understanding of what had called to him in that stary field so many years ago. He was chosen, and abandoned, at the same time yet he didn't understand that at the time. The fact that something wanted him instead of shunned him appealed to him then, as it does now. That Tune gives Taris a slight pause in his step as he glances at the bard wondering how he knew this tune and what it ment to the young warlock. He could feel the subtle undertones of arcane energy mixing with his own causing a mild reaction, not bad per say but just enough to be noticed....He would have to learn more about this stout dwarf if time allowed. Turning slightly towards Rolen, he reaches out with his mind once more, his alien presence brushing Rolens mind ’get into position, I’m going to head back and let the others know what the layout is and just what to expect. We can get the drop on this thing.’

That being done Taris heads back just to the point of being able to see the others (30') so he can reach out and inform them of the room ahead and the possible threats involved. Then heads back to get into position apart from Rolen so as not to get clumped together but to have a clear line of site on that bugbear.

Once Taris knows that the rest of the party are in place he is going to let loose with the ‘dissonant whispers’ calling upon the darkness to envelope his foe with taunts and whispers of his failures “target must make a wisdom saving throw (DC 13) on a failed save it takes [roll0] damage and must immediately use its reaction to move as far as it’s speed will allow. With the bugbear dropping and the goblin and wolf no longer a worry Taris turns his head towards the 3 goblins that remain, hands raised in apparent surrender.

Reaching out to Garrett his mind briefly touches his, and once again he feels the Tieflings alien presence inside his head.’you wanted to tie something up…I think that these 3 meet the requirements. Plus if we don’t get our friend back I would like to have some sort of leverage….if we let them live at all’

Purple energy crackles at his hands as his eyes shift to a bright red. He walks over to the Bug Bear, with every step whispers can be heard gaining in tempo ’Feed…Consume….Devour….Eat the Flesh…More, we demand more….’ When he gets to the Bug Bear he reaches down and grabs a hold of the armor the thing is wearing, he glances at the remaining Goblins and lowers his head drawing in the purplish energy that was remaining on the thing into his mouth. With the last of the remaining energy drawn back into him Taris snaps his head up to the Goblins, a devious grin on his face as he wipes the his mouth with the back of his hand. From somewhere in the cavern a crow can be hear cawing in the broken silence.

”Please, by all means, fight back…I’m still hungry”

While he is over ‘Klarg’ Taris searches his body for anything of use. Once done with that he will move over to investigate the crates seeing what can be salvages and what goods they actually are, upon seeing the Blue Lion emblem his mind races wondering who owns that emblem.

”hey guys when you’re done with those filth come over here real quick” He calls out from the other side of some crates. He will work to separate the funds as best he can, setting the boots and Potions aside (120cp each and 22sp each.) As he waits for the others he starts to examine the boots as best he can trying to figure out why they are gleaming in the darkness.

After a short rest and once the goblins are tied up to his satisfaction and he ensures that there is nothing of use on the Bug Bear Taris will start marching back down the way that he came towards the other Goblins and Seldar. Dead goblin Trailing behind him in the dirt dragged by some unseen force, a gruesome trail of blood is all that remains of his passing. The angry purple energy is back covering his right hand hungry for more.

”YEEEEEEMIK……oh YEEEEEMIK……..I’m coming for my human now YEEEEEEMIK. He better be alive still if you expect to be….” He calls out to the other goblin as he stalks down the halls of the caves. His voice Echoing down them with startling clarity, Whispers of impending doom follow.

A greatful look to Alder as he both try's to heal and help bear the load of Sildar. The weight was getting a little bit much for him with just Rolen helping, or should he say him helping Rolen...

Alden touches Sildar, and a brief gleam of light shines under Alden's hands. Sildar's eyes flutter open, and he groans. As you make your way back to the cart, he thanks you profusely for saving him, and apologizes for being unable to defend Gundren.

He helps you ready the cart, and before long, you're back on the road to Phandalin.

"I'll pay you 50 gold pieces, as thanks for all the help. Unfortunately, I'm kind of broke," he says, smiling grimly. "Getting robbed and kidnapped will do that to you. I'll secure a loan to pay you when we reach Phandalin."

"More importantly, I think you deserve to know what's going on. Gundren wanted to share this to you himself, but with the current situation, I think he'll forgive me. You see, Gundren and his two brothers, Tharden and Nundro discured an entrance to the Wave Echo Cave. It's a mine of great power that was used to make magical items...until orcs overrun the town. The location of the cave was lost until now. He wrote it on his map of his, but I'm pretty sure it got taken.

I've managed to hear that damn bugbear talking when I was slipping in and out of consciousness. Apparently, someone called "Black Spider" told the bugbear to bring Gundren to him. I'll like to meet that sneaky coward in person and punch his face in."

The rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, and you catch your first glimpse of Phandalin. The town consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings, some built on old fieldstone foundations. More old ruins - crumbling stone walls covered in ivy and briers - surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in the centuries past. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track, which widens into a muddy main street of sorts as it climbs towards a ruined manor house on a hillside at the east side of town.

As you approach, you see children playing on the town green and townsfolk tending to chores or running errands at shops. Many people look up as you approach, but all return to their business as you go by.

Sildar grins at the sight of the town. "Let us secure lodgings. I'm told the local inn is very quaint."

As the group broaches the woodside and the town and ruins come into light Taris quickly raises his hood and tucks his hands a little deeper into his cloak, the tail that you have seen sweeping back and forth from under his cloak curls up to disappear underneath.

His attention seems to be split as you come into town. The Ruins seem to call to him, to pull him away from the group and yet the words that Sildar speaks bring him back to the group.

”Klemm I am sure that you would be able to get us room and board if your singing is anything like your fighting.” A slight edge has entered his otherwise confident voice. His demeanor has gone from smooth and flowing to stiff and almost jerky the more and more you get into town.

Slidar looks around. "I think all the shops are closed by now. Let's leave the cart outside the inn. This way."

Sildar guides you a large roadhouse in the centre of town, a new building of fieldstone and rough-hewn timbers. A sign hangs outside, with the image of a foaming mug of beer, and the words Stonehill Inn carved and inked underneath.

As you enter a relatively crowded common room, most of whom look like locals who are eyeing you with curiosity as you enter, Sildar heads straight for the innkeeper, a short man with a big chest and arm muscles, and look like he's been a miner or a blacksmith once.

After a bit of haggling, Sildar turns back and gives you a grin. "Don't worry about room and board, I've got that covered for tonight. Meet me at the Townsmaster's Hall tomorrow, and I'll have your reward for you. Good night fellas!"

After Sildar left, one of the men at a nearby table stood up and wobbled, clearly drunk. "Eh....*hic*, y-y-you're a baard, ain't ya? Dwarvish sing-singers, hehehe. Give us a happy tale, will ya? Got e-enough bad neews already, what with Thel dying and all." he said, pointing a finger at Klemm.

At the inn, Alden orders a beer. "Well well. Let's see how well you play", he says to Klemm and sits down.

Alden doesn't sing along, but raises his mug and drinks at the appropriate parts. At some point, he strikes up a conversation with the patron who had talked to Klemm. "So. You mentioned someone called Thel being dead earlier. What was that about?"

Seeing the relatively crowded room Taris feels a tightness in his chest, anxiety at so many people in one place with the possibility of panic. He scans the crowd and the layout of the room noting where the stairs/doors to the rooms are and looks for any windows.

While Klemm is busy setting up to go into his songs he will find an empty table, preferably away from the others in the common room so as not to raise alarm and take his seat. Pulling his hood a little closer to him, yet not enough to rip through it like he did the last one. When a barmaid comes by, if one does, he will order something to eat and some ale to drink while he listens to what people are talking about.

Upon hearing the Drunkards words Taris’s interest is peeked. He has always had an issue with Bullies and held the belief that those with power should help and not hurt. These ‘Red Cloaks’ seem to be beholden to the pack mentality of doing everything in groups so they can scare their way into what they want.

Reaching out he sends his thoughts to Alden. ”This red cloak issue, see if you can find out more about them. I can’t say that I like their actions or the way that they go about things.”

Taris looks about the tavern trying to keep abreast of the patrons and anything that might be happening around him. After he has he meal he gets up and heads outside for some air, the feeling of claustrophobia rising with so many people around him and too few exits.

As beer starts to flow freely and tongues loosen, you can hear snippets of conversation about various topics, such as

"Did you hear? Thel died standing up to..."

"Yes, even dear Edermath couldn't do a thing..."

"...really? Only Halia wasn't touched?"

"Did you hear? Sister Garaele came back wounded and exhausted..."

"...orcs! Stinking orcs! From Icewind Dale this time!"

With all the peripheral conversation going on, it's going to be a little hard to focus on any specific conversation unless you engage with them directly.

Once he knows who it is that is doing the talking he will walk over to the Bar to order a round of drinks for the people that he is interested in. After getting the drinks he walks over a little hesitantly and once there is a break in the conversation he places the mugs of ale on the table.

”So I heard about this Thel situation and how his family was taken, who are these redcloaks and what happened to him?” Trying to sound as friendly as he can he says making sure that the hood of his cloak is still down over his face.

Garrett

Garrett has kept himself quiet ever since they got into the cave, he was not used to this kind of thing, his life was mostly training martial arts and doing some small quests for the monks. This was the first time he had to kill another living thing - other than an occasional rat or bug. Not that killing goblins was something that bothered Garrett, he had no problem with killing those little pesky monsters, but it still was something new that he had to absorb. Besides that the wolfs in the caves also bought his child memory back, and got himself thinking about that period of his life.

But when he got to town, and especially after hearing Klemm singing he started to feel his spirit comming back to him, he would order the biggest plate of food, he wanted something good to eat tonight, the monk food was so boring and everytime he had the chance to eat outside he would use it to eat something different. Garrett would call the waitress to the table and say "What is tonight special? I want a big plate of that plus a nice apple pie as dessert! Bring enough for all my companions here!" Garrett would pay the meal (if it was not already taken care by Sildar), he was on a generous mod tonight, he would dig into the food vigorously, especially the pie, that he would enjoy the most, he loved any sort of pie. If any of the food he just ate was particularly good, Garrett would ask for recipe of the food so he could recriate later.

After that he would say to Klemm or Taris or whoever is near him "Do you think we should interfere with this redcloak thingy? It is not that I don't want to, it is just that if we want to save Gundren time could be short. Unless it is a problem we can deal at same time..."

"The mines? Naw, the redcloaks don't dare touch Halia, and she owns the mines. Got connections, she has. It happened in broad daylight, right in this town. The townsmaster can't even lock them up."

"Business...is alright. There's no gold rush or anything, but there is some. Enough to get fed and get drunk, ha!"

"Here you go, luv." a barmaid says as she slides a big plate of some brownish, jelly-like substance along with another big plate of apple pie. Several smaller, empty plates slide in front of each member of the party who's seated. "It's called some fancy pansy name, but between you and me, I personally call it "cooked ooze". Enjoy!"

He takes a long pull from his mug. "Depends on how many there are and what kind of group they are. Might be they're just a gang of hoodlums who just have weapons and mean looks. Most likely there aren't too many here who know how to wield a weapon". Alden takes another sip. "They might even be even be disgruntled ex-military. That would complicate things. You make your way over to the Townmaster's Hall, a building with sturdy stone walls, a pitched wooden roof, and a bell tower at the back. Posted on a board next to the front door is a notice written in Common. It reads:

Reward -- Orcs near Wyvern Tor! Those of a mind to face the orc menace should inquire within

The notice bears the town's seal and an indecipherable signature.

Opening the door, you see a fat man sitting at a desk, scribbling something on official looking documents.

’Great another Fat nobleman….thinks he knows what he’s doing…’ Taris thinks to himself pausing in the doorway.

He glances around both at the posted notice and the interior of the ”Townmasters” place of business for any sign of Sildar.

Taking a mental note to ask about the Red Cloaks and this Halia person and possibly the orc in the process

Knocking on the door frame Taris clears his throat, ”looking for Sildar, has he come by yet?”
