Scrying question

I was just wondering if Scrying works on the corpse or the soul? Say if I die and am brought back in another body would someone Scrying me see my old body or new? furthermore if it is the soul could you scry a dead person to see what their soul is doing?

It won't be on the body, because if it's dead that's an object, not a creature.
