Well, yes, except　the zu should be written ズ, not ヅ, unless i'm mistaken. And don't forget that kazumi should come before kato......................

I like them as characters. I like a lot of new introductions actually, to the point of hoping they'll stick around as permanent additions. Probably secondary characters. Mainly these two, Hinjo, and Tsukiko.

Couldn't find the name Daigo. But in Japanese
大 (dai) = "large, great" and 五 (go) = "five"

Kazumi isn't there either. But could mean...
(kazu) = "one" or 和 (kazu)= "harmony" and 美 (mi) = "beautiful".
OR Kasumi, from Japanese 霞 "mist".
OR 花 (ka) "flower" and 澄 (sumi) "clear".

I could be wrong about these though. Any Japanese people want to correct me?

You're not the first to note that. They're going for the goblins. Now that they are named NPCs pride took over them and they think they can hold the goblin army. We'll know Daigo's family name soon enough.

The worst part is that none of the PCs learned their names. They'll always be redshirts and nameless to them.

This will be a running gag for the next several appearances. It pretty much guarantees they will not get offed quickly. When they are to be written out, it will turn out that they have different things in mind, likely sake and tea. They may vanish from our view arguing over the point, or their last line might be "I know a place that serves both."

Kazumi: Lots of possibilities, I'd say 和美, 和実 or 和海 have the nicest characters. 和 harmony/Japan, 美 beauty, 実 truth/fruit, 海 sea

Daigo: 大吾 seems to be the most common
