Hi all

So trying to build up my world, and I need a few things and cant find them. Some are old WotC articles and stuff, which I can access on the Way Back machine but thats clunky and annoying to do.

Meanwhile I also need the update booklets to things like Fiend Folio. I can get to the download page using WBM, but cannot download the PDF/zip files.

While salvaging the forum posts, did anyone save those pages? Were they uploaded anywhere else? Am i just unlucky with my searches and cant find them?

Any help would be appreciated.

Er, none of WOTC's online content has been taken down, as far as I can see, so I suspect the problem might be your google-fu.

Here's the page with the update booklets (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a), it works fine for me when I click the links.

Any specific online content you want/need found?

Interesting. When I tried to follow the link from an old forum post on here, it took me to the Wizard's 404 page.

I wonder, I never checked, but maybe the post was old enough that it was a www. link rather than an archive. link...

That'll do it, though in a few rare cases the "www" still worked fine (I think regarding some very old FORGOTTEN REALMS® stuff). I still had to use the WayBack Machine to grab Drizzt's first set of 3rd Edition stats (so bare bones!).

I've been keeping a list (https://www.schadenfreudestudios.com/forum/thread.php?thread=21) of articles that've caught my interest…

Besides checking that it starts with "archive", the articles are also saved on google drive (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5Q9O1xtidQ5aVhaUXlZc1B3Zkk&usp=sharing), in case they are ever completely taken down.
