Getting a monstrous centipede as a mount?

Hey playground,

at the moment I'm DM'ing a not so serious (and not at all optimized) campaign, in which one of my players would like to get a large monstrous centipede as a mount (preferably of the fiendish variant :smallamused:)
Now, he plays a CN human cleric of Zagyg and just got his first level as malconvoker.

I couldn't find anything suitable, so I turn to you playgrounders, all 3.x material would be okay (I'd even consider homebrew)

Let him take the Wild Cohort (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a) feat and apply the vermin companion (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20040705a) option.

Alternatively, if you want a fiendish centipede, homebrew an evil version of the Exalted Companion feat and allow it to apply to Wild Cohort. I'd remove the effective companion level increase, though.
