So...as an explanation for the dumb thing I did, I was incredibly bored and had somewhere between 14 and 16 hours of free time on my hands. I eventually thought "Hm, wouldn't it be cool if there was a MOBA that was only characters from other things?" Thinking about it lead to thinking about it in greater detail...which lead to writing about it...which lead to writing in even GREATER detail about it...

Eventually it got to the point that I was spending 4-5 hours at a time in MS paint drawing out full characters for the moba that will never happen.

So, posted below are some of the MOBA characters that I fleshed out. The pictures show an image of the character, (with a name) a generic stat spread showing Physical Attack, Defenses, Magic Attack, Support Power, and Mobility, the character's intended MOBA role, and a list of their abilities with thumbnails, short descriptions, and quotes. My intention was to translate them into a MOBA-style game as best as I could, and represent them well without being overly ridiculous. I have more information about them written in notepads and whatnot.

I may add more to this later. Please tell me what you guys think! Also, if you have any questions, character requests, or anything else to say about this, please also post it in the thread, any thoughts or activity is appreciated. And if you want to make your own, here's a link to the template: http://i.imgur.com/KPKeQm6.png

There's a reason why these don't get off the ground: copyright/trademark issues. :smalltongue: You'll need to contact each of the creators just to use them in your game legally, even if it's free.

Even so, for the purpose of historical interest, there is currently a (highly illegal) game that did exactly that: 300 Heroes (300-heroes.wikia.com/wiki/Hero_List).

Honestly it was just more of a thought experiment I got crazy wrapped up in. :smalltongue: I never knew about that 300 heroes thing though, cool beans my good sir.

Well, Blizzard did it with Heroes of the Storm. Copyright isn't an issue when you made all the games :P
