So far my ideas are:
synthesist//uber-bomber alchemist
synthesist//paladin
master summoner//packlord druid

Master Summoner//Bard?
Master Summoner//Tactician? (Not sure this one works, don't remember off-hand how fast adding people to a network is).

Definitely not synthesist//anything. You want the action economy of a second character.

1-5, probably summoner or master Summoner//some T3 fighter type, like Slayer or Warder or Daevic
1-20 summoner or master summoner//any Tier 1.

Honorable mention to master summoner//hunter or spiritualist. Spec your eidolon for skill monkey and only summon it when needed, use your phantom or companion as a fighter, augment it with summoned monsters and you should be able to duplicate a decent 3-4 man party.

I'd say Summoner//Warlord. You'll get decent casting out of Summoner, especially if not unchained, and the Warlord will allow you to contribute continuously during those long adventuring days. If you go with the Steelfist Commando archetype you don't even need weapons or armor. And, of course, both classes are Charisma based.

There might be better options out there, but I think that would be a solid choice. And you definitely don't want to do synthesis as a solo character. Having a friend is much better than some extra stat buffs.

Paladin could fill out the other half handsomely, and I'd you go archon or angel themed eidolon, that's some great flavor.

There's a spiritualist archetype that casts with CHA. The phantom is a better skill monkey, I think, and the eidolon can eat faces.

Edit: Fractured Mind is the archetype

That'd likely by an Oracle (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle) with the Spirit Guide archetype (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/archetypes/paizo---oracle-archetypes/spirit-guide) abusing Lore Spirit (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/hybrid-classes/shaman/spirits/lore) and the Arcane Enlightenment hex to swap out Sor/Wiz spells known on a daily basis. Grab the Lunar Mystery (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/mysteries/paizo---oracle-mysteries/lunar-mystery) for Primal Companion (animal companion - go with the Tiger) and Prophetic Armor (Cha in place of Dex to AC and Reflex). Moonlit Script is also useful (free Communue 1/day at 8th).

You hang back and cast spells (both arcane and divine, and you can swap out the Arcane ones).
Your Animal Companion acts as meatshield.
Spec your Eidolon out as a skill monkey to handle traps, locks, and the like. Or just another meatshield, and beat your way through everything.

If you're permitted third party, go with the Feral Curse (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/oracle-curses#TOC-Feral-3PP-) for Wildshape. As the named class ability Wild Shape, it qualifies you for Natural Spell (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/natural-spell---final). Turn into a little bird or something otherwise innocuous for the area and cast at range from the trees.

Of course, take Noble Scion(War) (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/noble-scion) for Charisma to initiative (in place of Dex),

Tier-1 (or very close) Charisma-based spellcasting, Charisma-based AC, Charisma-based initiative, two semi-disposable minions, and if you do it right nobody's targeting you anyway.

Edit: Oh yes, and get Leadership (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/leadership---final) as soon as you qualify. It's Charisma-based, and it rounds out your party. If you have your cohort be a skillmonkey, then you spec your Eidolon out as another meatshield, and pretend to be your cohort's familiar.

I'm not really sure it is, given the evolution that gives +8 to a skill as a racial +. Your problem is you can't have both out at the same time because the phantom gets mad. But if you only need the eidolon situationally and out of combat, say because in combat you are relying on summoned monsters.....

Yeah, I didn't remember the eidolon had so many skill points per level. That and the skill evolution seals the deal.
Still, I really believe that the eidolon should be the meatshield in this case. I don't think that animal companion + summons is enough melee power. I'm playing a hunter right now, and a velocirraptor + teamwork feats + animal & planar focus + a menacing weapon + skirmish tricks is good but not overpowering. A worst companion (big cat is the best you can get with that oracle revelation) without that kind of support, I don't think it's going to cut it.
I think the phantom is a serviceable skill monkey, especially as a face and scout, and when the fight starts it runs back into your mind to protect you from mind affecting.

Yeah, but as a Cha caster, you don't need a face, and it kinda sucks at anything else. If a phantom + summons doesn't cover your melee needs, you would probably be better served going Wizard or Sorcerer or Shaman or blight Druid and getting a familiar for scouting, and having a full T1 casting to complement your half casting.
