Interested in how to make yourself your own god? Perhaps lose those last few pesky pounds? Even save money on funeral expenses? Look no farther!

Make yourself a mummy in the privacy of your own home. (http://althouse.blogspot.com/2007/07/process-of-becoming-self-made-mummy-is.html)

This is deserving of a template wouldn't you think?

Most religions are, at least when you analyze pieces of them alone, if you step back and look at them closely. ;)

I find it interesting that a Gitp forum smiley extremely accurately represents this article.

Hehe. Well, in 2nd ed, we had the greater mummy. This I would say woul rather be some form of crypth thing, an insane monster with clerical abilities that guard some sacred thingy in the jungle rather a undead mastermind that plots to aquire more dark magic.

"Drink lacquer: if it doesn't poison you, it'll mummify you alive"
^- that's either the best ever, or the worst ever, advert for a beverage I've ever seen, but I simply can't tell which!

(It's all gone a bit Schrodinger again... :smalleek: )

When I read the thread title, I somewhat expected beer. German beer.

I expected ambrosia and nectar.

I was woefully misled, and angered that those monks thought you could become worshipped like a god just by making yourself a mummy. :smallannoyed:

I just started believing that there are people who don't eat meat. This blows my MIND!

First time I met vegan, I was put in a state of confusion for an hour.

That sounds just like the kind of person who would decided to collect every single record ever made. The question is, why didn't those ancient monks develop vinyl?
