I wanted to design a sort of arcane librarian/writer but with powers that stem from books/writing being in their blood, as opposed to a learned scholar like a wizard. I want to see if this concept works with the mechanics provided, is balanced against other sorcerer bloodlines, and is playable (read: survivable) in most campaigns. I am looking for honest feedback, design insights, and any way I can make the build more balanced, better worded, and generally something players and gamemasters would see as viable. I have provided URL links to the various mechanics, where I could find them. Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.

CIPHER BLOODLINE
In ancient cultures, the written word was seen as mysterious and magical, with symbols and alphabets granting their wielders the power to create legends, shape empires, and obtain a sort of immortality with simple lines of text. Even more powerful were those who learned to read—and write—between these lines. Within your blood lies the dormant power of the first authors whose creative minds and powerful hidden ciphers gave birth to civilizations and countless heroes.

Bloodline Arcana: You add half your class level (minimum 1) to all Craft (books) (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/craft) and Profession (scribe) (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/profession) skill checks, and you may make such skill checks untrained. Whenever you cast a spell with the word "glyph", "rune", or "symbol" in its name, increase the spell's DC by +1.

Bloodline Powers: Your family's association with influential scripts and ancient ciphers has infused your blood with a reverence for, and command of, magical writing.

Catalog (Sp): At 1st level, you can use memorize page (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/memorize-page) as a spell-like ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. In addition to memorizing a page, you can use a single use of this ability to erase the memory of a memorized page from a willing target, as if using the spell modify memory (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/modify-memory), in order to make room for a new page.

Breathe, Eat, and Dream Books (Su): At 3rd level, you gain the ability to absorb written information in lieu of meeting certain biological needs. While you are reading, you do not need to breathe, but each round you must read the equivalent of 25 words of text (250 words each minute; approximately one page). If you spend at least 1 hour reading a minimum of 250 words each minute (approximately 60 pages), you gain nourishment as if you had eaten a nutritious meal for a creature of your size. If you spend at least 8 hours reading a minimum of 60 pages an hour, you gain the benefits of having slept for 8 hours. If you spend 24 hours reading a minimum of 60 pages an hour, you gain the benefits of having had complete bed rest with long-term care. You can only gain the benefits from reading a single page of text once in a 24 hour period, and you must read for the full duration to gain the listed benefit, regardless of how much you read.

Spontaneous Symbology (Sp): At 9th level, your time spent perusing ancient tomes and forgotten lore has granted you access to the mysterious symbols that govern reality. You can cast any "symbol" spell using a spell slot of the appropriate level, even if the spell is not on your list of spells known. A symbol spell is any spell with the word "symbol" in its name.

Lost In-Between the Pages (Sp): At 15th level, your connection to the written word is so strong you can enter physically into books. Once per day, you may touch a book containing at least 50 pages of writing in a language you know and enter an extra-dimensional dwelling decorated and staffed as an interpretation of the writing contained in the book's pages (treat as the mage's magnificent mansion (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/mage-s-magnificent-mansion) spell). The book acts as the entry point, allowing those you designate who read from the book to become lost in-between the pages, as well. Anyone who enters the extra-dimensional space—including you—gains the benefits of the mage's perusal (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/mage-s-perusal) spell in regards to the book they are lost in. If anyone who isn't designated by you reads from the book, they can make a DC 25 Linguistics check to discern the text has been altered to incorporate the extra-dimensional occupants into the book's writing. Anyone who leaves the book appears in the nearest available space outside the book. If you leave the book, the effect ends and everyone still inside the extra-dimensional space is ejected to the nearest unoccupied space that will accommodate them. If the book—and thus, the entry point—is destroyed, you and anyone else occupying the extra-dimensional space are immediately ejected to the nearest unoccupied space and are stunned for 1 round (no save).

Neverending Story (Sp): At 20th level, should you die, your knowledge and experience enters the subconscious of a like-minded, and talented, author (either famous or unknown) who pens an inspired masterpiece of your complete life story over the course of 10 days. Once complete, the masterpiece transforms into a new body for your soul to inhabit; although, the body's appearance is slightly skewed due to the author's own writing-style and characterization of you as the protagonist (treat as the cyclic reincarnation (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/c/cyclic-reincarnation) spell).
