So, this idea crossed my mind earlier. Can it be done? How?

File this one as more just thought experimentation then anything.

Ruby Knight Vindicator...?

You can get maneuvers from magic items, so an artificer could do it.
You can get maneuvers from heroics, so a persistomancer could do it.
Legacy Champion/Uncanny Trickster can advance JPM without taking levels in JPM... but that's a lame solution, no fun. UT 3 could advance maneuvers and spells by one level each, but that's a terrible rate - better to simply alternate levels in your base classes.
An ardent can advance in manifesting fairly well, even if you dip non-manifesting stuff for four levels.
There's homebrew, but there's always homebrew.

Other than the classes in ToB, there are no classes that grant maneuvers directly.

Edit: Obviously, you can use fusion + astral seed on an initiator and a spellcaster, or you can be an Illithid Savant, or a Soul Eater, or maybe a tsochar? All of these rely on absorbing powers, so you need to get them somewhere, first, through roleplay or Leadership-type abilities.

A factotum can kind-of cast arcane spells and, by abusing the wording on Cunning Brilliance, kind-of use maneuvers.

Far from ideal, but also far from useless - go Swordsage 5 (or rogue 1 swordsage 4) then mix chameleon with more swordsage levels.

The variant version Wyrm of War Sovereign Archetype lets a True Dragon trade in Sorcerer spell slots/spells known for Tiger Claw maneuvers of equal level and gives you an IL equal to your effective Sorcerer level. So you could have fewer spells and maneuvers keeping pace (Martial Study/Stance feats can get you access to other disciplines). Of course this isn't terribly useful unless your DM says Dragonwrought Kobolds are True Dragons or you can at least get LA buyoff, and it's better in conjunction with JPM anyway, as JPM levels stack with all ILs including the one you get from your Sorcerer level.

Far from ideal, but also far from useless - go Swordsage 5 (or rogue 1 swordsage 4) then mix chameleon with more swordsage levels. The Chameleon floating feat is also a sort of okay way of getting semi-scaling maneuvers/stances through Martial Study/Martial Stance. Chameleons can also cast Heroics, which can similarly be used to gain Martial Study/Stance feats.

Alright, some of these are kind of neat actually. =)

Legacy Champion is in Weapons of Legacy, right?

What books are Uncanny Trickster and Phaerimm Hatchling in?
